“…President Trump will be at Mt. Rushmore where he’ll be standing in front of a monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans…” CNN correspondent Leyla Santiago, July 3, 2020
The warning bells first went off for this author when CNN hired known communist Van Jones, who was ousted from his role as “Green Jobs Czar” from former president Barack Obama’s White House after being exposed as a Marxist agitator by author and filmmaker Trevor Loudon.
Why would CNN knowingly hire a Marxist? After all, his ideology was common knowledge. This was right around the time of this author’s tragic political awakening. What a gift to be so naive.
Unfortunately, it is this naivety, this complacency, that has allowed the Marxist long march through the institutions, leading America to this turning point in history. Many, if not most, citizens were blissfully unaware that while they were living their lives and raising their families, the left was hijacking their history and indoctrinating their children, all in the ultimate effort to promote revolution and fundamentally transform the country, and the world.
It is difficult to believe that at one point, this author considered CNN to be a moderate news organization. It seems that CNN sometimes successfully attempted to maintain a veneer of objectivity until President Donald Trump got elected. All pretense of objectivity has long been abandoned. As exposed by the actual journalists at Project Veritas, CNN is unconcerned about reporting the news, opting instead to indoctrinate their viewers with propaganda.
All of that culminated last night, when CNN correspondent Leyla Santiago casually referred to Mount Rushmore as a “monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans.”
As transcribed at RealClearPolitics:
And, Jake, kicking off the Independence Day weekend, President Trump will be at Mt. Rushmore where he’ll be standing in front of a monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans told that be focusing on the effort to, quote, tear down our country’s history.
Watch (around the 1:00 minute mark):
As painful as it is, Americans must wake up to the fact that they are despised by the Marxists who have hijacked their once-treasured institutions. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance and Americans have been looking the other way for far too long.
