Communist Group Takes Credit for India Walton, the 'Openly Socialist' Likely New Mayor of Buffalo

Marxist organization “Our Revolution” is bragging about their role in helping “openly socialist” candidate India Walton win the Buffalo Democratic mayoral primary.

Our Revolution is a front group for America’s largest Marxist organization: the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). In a mass email sent to supporters on June 29, 2021, Our Revolution boasted about their influence on DSA member India Walton’s campaign and appealed for money to counter efforts of her primary opponent Mayor Byron Brown to launch a write-in campaign.

Our Revolution said in part:

“When Our Revolution helped India Walton defeat her establishment opponent in the Buffalo Democratic mayoral primary, we celebrated the likely election of an openly socialist mayor as a significant milestone for progressives.”

The email further bragged that in the last year, “Our Revolution…elected 74% of our 450 endorsed progressive candidates by mobilizing on the ground AND in the halls of power.”

Indeed, Our Revolution boasted in January that installed puppet Joe Biden used their language specifically in one of his executive orders, as reported at RAIR Foundation USA. The RAIR article, as an aside, was removed from Facebook groups for being “spam”.

RAIR has long warned of the far-reaching influence of Democratic Socialists of America, along with their front group “Our Revolution.”
