Soldiers and police officers offering support and protection to citizens protesting tyrannical lockdowns and “vaccine” mandates are under attack by their left-wing governments. Countries are vilifying and persecuting servicemen who remain faithful to the oath they took to defend their country against all foreign and domestic enemies.
Most recently, German Sergeant Major Andreas Oberauer was unlawfully arrested and smeared by international left-wing media for releasing a video demanding an end to Germany’s lockdown measures, mandatory “vaccines,” and violent abuse of protesters. In the December 28, 2021 video, Sergeant Oberauer drew attention to the abuse of children and the elderly at pro-freedom protests:
Now we see children being pushed down on the streets and old men being threatened with having their skulls smashed [by police].
The Sergeant called on his fellow soldiers and police officers to protect the daily peaceful protest walks taking place across Germany from the unconstitutional abusive behavior of the state police. In the video, he commands his subordinates to arrest officers physically abusing citizens and violating their rights:
Stand clearly with the people of Germany and clearly for Constitutional Law. This is addressed to every man, to defend the constitutional right of these demonstrations and to intervene to protect women and children from — what should I call them? Mercenaries? They can’t be called policemen anymore.
To protect. That’s exactly what I am calling every constitution-loyal policeman in Germany to do. Intervene, stop your own colleagues from attacking people, children and women. Equally, I also call upon every soldier today to intervene and protect these demonstrators — in uniform.
I will now give the command. Here speaks Sergeant Oberauer: I order all soldiers under my rank back into service in uniform, from 19:00. Your order is to protect the civilian population during demonstrations from all outside attacks and to intervene with every policeman behaving unconstitutionally or encroaching on the population’s rights. They are to be arrested and led to prosecution.
German Defense Ministry took to Twitter on December 30, 2021, to condemn the Sergeant’s video. They stated that it “contains threats against the state of law that are unacceptable.” He added that “the consequences are already being examined.”
Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht wrote that the military needs “upstanding people who stand firmly on the foundation of our constitution.” Anyone who doesn’t share those values “has no place in our Bundeswehr,” she added.
Hours after the state condemned Sergeant Major Oberauer, Munich police arrested him:
Watch the video of the Sergeant’s unlawful arrest:
International media (including many U.S. outlets) seized on the story and helped to vilify the Sergeant. The left knows their most significant obstacle in seizing unconstitutional power is military and police officers who remain faithful to their oath to defend their country’s constitution.
In addition to Sergeant Oberauer, Lieutenant Colonel Futschik also spoke out against the states unconstitutional measures in a Facebook post:
Dear fellow human beings,
The current situation demands a lot from us, especially from us soldiers. We are the first test object for further expanding vaccination requirements. For a long time, a fight right on our doorstep was a long way off.
It started for me a good three weeks ago here in my home country. The fight against political decisions that I can no longer support with my conscience. Maybe a David versus Goliath fight? Who knows?
For myself, however, I know that it is the right and only way that I now have to go. Not for my ego. I go for my wife, children, parents, siblings, nephews, cousins, friends, and all those close to my heart who do not have the strength, courage, or possibilities to defend themselves.
The fight in me is fought. I walk this path with peace and strength within myself and hope to use it outside and maybe transfer it to others. With my letters to my highest superiors, I have sent a little light to all those who have or need it.
I have received a lot of feedback and gratitude that show me that I am not alone and crazy. As I have learned, I am walking the path forward with the confidence that there will be many consequences because you have decided for yourself also to walk this path.
I am determined to protect and valiantly defend everyone in this country. I swore that. The struggle begins within ourselves and now goes against our own government.
I find it very sad that it has to come to this. But no one can and should take away our rights and our freedom. This is what our Basic Law stands for, and for or in front of it, I stand to defend it against everything and everyone, hopefully with many like-minded people. And our weapons are not military in nature.
Currently, our mind, our words, and actions (writing, walking) are our tools. So let us use you wisely and wisely.
I hope to meet as many of you as possible on the stony and narrow path to justice. Let the hearts show the way and go through these difficult times together.
To all of you, a lot of strength, courage, clarity, and love to make the right decisions.
“And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.“
There is a German Telegram group for soldiers called “Soldiers for the Basic Law” with over 6,400 members. They report on information happening around Germany and “encourage soldiers to stand for the oath they took for the FDGO and the Basic Law.”
Many former police and military veterans have formed organizations in the Netherlands to protect citizens peacefully protesting the government’s Covid lockdowns and mandates.
In the Ranks For Freedom (IHGVV) is a Dutch organization comprised of former soldiers, including veterans who have come together to “stand up to disproportionate violence” unleashed on citizens. About 80 veterans’ associations are affiliated with the organization. As stated on their website, “IHGVV is committed to ensuring that every citizen can invoke the constitution and human rights.”
Their mission is to:
- Show understanding and respect for the man in the police uniform carrying out orders that are not proportional.
- Offering people the space to peacefully exercise their fundamental rights.
- Remain free from political views and opinions of both the protesters and the government.
Just recently, another group of Dutch soldiers took to the streets in their uniforms to protect the public from police brutality during a protest against the state’s Covid measures and mandates:
In April 2020, thousands of police officers, soldiers, veterans, doctors, nurses, teachers, and ordinary civilians walked shoulder to shoulder through the streets, calling for freedom of speech, medical freedom, the right to education, and the preservation of fundamental rights. RAIR Foundation USA reported on the freedom march organized by the group Police for Freedom.
It is no surprise that the left-wing Dutch media and politicians have slammed the soldiers for protecting the public. CDA Member of Parliament Derk Boswijk recently condemned the group’s “sad display and misuse of uniforms’. The MEP condemned veterans trying to de-escalate police attacks against citizens at protests against Covid restrictions and mandates. At the start of 2022, Dutch citizens were mauled by police dogs and beaten with batons in Amsterdam.
Western nations are attacking Classical democracy in the name of combating the coronavirus. As a result, armed service members who choose to obey their oaths of office are criminalized, while those who act against the public’s most fundamental rights, even to the point of becoming state thugs, act with total impunity.
