This upcoming Easter weekend, massive freedom protests are planned in Canada and the United States. Citizens from both countries are fighting for their basic liberties. They want an end to the totalitarian measures that their governments have implemented under the pretense of Covid-19.
Last Friday, April 8th, RAIR Foundation USA was on location in Ottawa and spoke with two veteran protestors who are part of the organization Freedom Fighters Canada. The Canadian organization is one of the groups behind this weekend’s protests. The pair like many patriotic Canadians has been in Ottawa since the end of January when the Truckers Freedom convoy converged on the city.
RAIR also interviewed two other Freedom Fighter Canada members, Kerry and Kyle, who
reported on this weekend’s upcoming, North American Unity Tour protests in the United States and Canada. Their non-profit organization, Freedom Fighter Canada, is “demanding the end of all government mandates” and tyrannical Covid “bills and legislature.” They believe that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s “government has overstepped its boundaries,” and their mission is “to put them back in their place.”
Upcoming events include joint Trucker Convoys over the weekend, where a Canadian convoy is to meet up with an American convoy at the Niagara Falls bridge and exchange flags. In addition, the Canadian convoy has many planned stops in several different Canadian locations along the way. For more information see here.
During the interview, a car full of people honking the horn and cheering drove through a gap in the police barricades on Ottawa’s Wellington Street, in front of the Parliament Buildings. Police can be seen chasing down the vehicle.
Wellington Street has been closed to all traffic except police since the Trucker Protest was cleared out by hundreds and hundreds of anonymous, militarized police.

Also, a rally called “Rolling Thunder” is planned for Ottawa on April 29 and 30. The purpose of the rally is to bring back dignity to the Canadian War Memorial. One wreath will be laid at the War Memorial then the procession of veteran lead motorcycles will proceed around the War Memorial.
The group is requesting that only Canadian Flags, Provincial Flags, and Regimental flags be displayed. One of the group’s promoters stated,
Please let veterans restore dignity to the Cenotaph. We are all frustrated and tired of many unfair and unjust policies and laws. But at this time, we ask you to focus on solely the War Memorial, what it represents and the veterans with reverence.
RAIR Foundation will have a front-row seat for Rolling Thunder and looks forward to bringing you on the scene coverage of the event.
