PARIS: Police inexplicably call off search for 'Allahu Akbar' Gunman at Les Quatre Temps Shopping Center

In 2015, this specific shopping center was singled out as a terror target in video released by Al Shabaab, the same terrorist group that killed 60 people in a Kenyan mall in 2013.

This morning, June 30, a manhunt was deployed in the business district of La Défense, at a shopping center just outside Paris, Les Quatre Temps (also known as 4-Temps). Police called off the investigation with the unnerving explanation that they could not find a suspect.

In 2015, this specific shopping center was singled out as a terror target in video released by Al Shabaab, the same terrorist group that killed 60 people in a Kenyan mall in 2013.

A shopper at Les Quatre Temps first reported that he had spotted a man carrying a machine gun around 9:30 am “confirming what several witnesses report.” Additionally, according to International news organization ok diario, “others claimed to have seen someone throw a glass bottle on the ground to the cry of ‘allahu akbar’.”

One female witness at the shopping center “heard explosions resembling gunshots”. She adds, “There was a crowd movement then everyone ran out.” Another witness named Olivia who is employed a Cafe in the center agrees, “I heard two shots. I was panicked. I went out and ran. ”

The military and police completely locked the entire area, including La Defense train station and evacuated terrified shoppers who can be scene rushing out with their hands raised over the heads.

According to a news correspondent citing a police source, the man on the loose is “athletically built, wearing a black mask and is carrying a machine gun.”

Watch this RAIR Foundation USA exclusively translated video by independent journalist, Miró Wolsfeld on the incident:

The Investigation was called off after police reported they found no suspicious individuals:

“Investigations of the area are ending. At this stage no suspicious individual has been spotted,” the police department said in a tweet signalling the end of the operation.

It is strange that police would call off a search for the stated reason that a suspect was not found. One would think that multiple eyewitness accounts would be enough for officers to maintain a presence in the area.

In virtually every instance of jihad attacks in France, politicians and media hide the identity of the attackers and downplay the incident. In rare cases when the identity of an attacker is leaked, the suspect is presented as possibly suffering from mental health issues and the story disappears.

In Paris the police have been deployed due to a terror incident.

In the shopping center Les Quatre Temps a man with a Kalashnikov was seen, and the police
were notified. They ended up evacuating the building.

The news portal Sputnik is reporting on the incident. Their correspondent on location
says the police are still trying to locate the suspect, but they already have a profile.

According to a Sputnik correspondent citing a police source, the man is athletically built,
is wearing a black mask and is carrying a machine gun.

These reports have not yet been officially confirmed by the police. Further information
about the suspect is still unknown, as well as whether his motive is political or religious.

However, other sources alleged that he was heard screaming “Allahu Akhbar”, which isn’t
really very surprising.

That’s the latest news, and I’ll keep you informed of further developments in the pinned
comment below.
