Illegal migrants living in the San Ferdinando tent city blocked the port gate of Gioia Tauro and attacked police as they demanded immigration documents and housing immediately. Then the illegal migrants marched towards Reggio Calabria, unleashing violence even in the city.

Former Interior Minister and leader of the League Party Matteo Salvini tweeted video of the riots stating;

CRAZY STUFF! Undocumented immigrants attack our law enforcement agencies with the cry of “immediately documents for all”. But for the left, Italy’s priority is to abolish the Security Decrees …
