A female “refugee” stabbed to death a 58-year-old man who was hosting her in his apartment in Meaux. Instead of being taken to jail, she was automatically hospitalized.
The “refugee” had been staying with him for about a week. The police are trying to understand the motive for the fatal tragedy, which occurred on the evening of Saturday, March 18, 2023, around 8:25 p.m., in an apartment in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), ten rue Beaumarchais.
The woman, an Algerian born in 1972, was coming out of the bathroom when she stabbed her host three times for a reason that remains to be determined. Islam is the majority and state religion in Algeria.
He died in hospital
The 58-year-old man was stabbed in his left arm, side, and heart. However, he managed to escape from the apartment to knock on a neighbor, who called the emergency services. Sadly, the victim died in the hospital.
