A Canadian veteran organization, Veterans for Freedom, released an inspiring video message celebrating the historical bond between the Dutch and Canadian Military. The group paid respect to military heroes who, 80 years ago and again today, must stand up for its citizens and protect their fundamental rights and freedoms from oppression:
A call out to Dutch veterans, the Dutch and Canadian militaries have served side by side for almost 80 years. From the Scheldt estuary to the Atlantic Ocean and from Harlem to Afghanistan. The bonds of service and sacrifices have been strong.
Veterans who have served in great free and democratic countries such as the Netherlands and Canada, now have an important role to play. Dutch and Canadian veterans understand what happens to a country in which freedom is attacked and oppression rises. Veterans more than others understand the cost to society and civil unrest and open violence begin.
The greatest struggle for Dutch veterans is just beginning and may be the toughest engagement. Facing up to globalist government interventions and overly centralized government decision-making programs is a massive challenge.
Veterans must bring their discipline and courage to the forefront. They need to aid and assist those civil society organizations that are leading the pushback. The veteran should not seek to lead these movements, but rather use their skills to make them stronger.
Veterans may lead the discussion on the use of peaceful and legal civil measures to resist oppression. Veterans know that the path to violence sought by so many others can only lead to more violence and oppression. If necessary, veterans should be prepared to form a line between the civilian population and the violence used against them by the state.
Veterans are no longer the sword, but they should be a shield. This tactic of protection may expose veterans to the violence of the state as it did during freedom convoy 2022 in Ottawa, Canada. Once again, however, veterans must be willing to defend the citizens of free countries.
In the past, Canada lost 7600 soldiers from the Netherlands working towards freedom. Now, more than three generations later. Canadian veterans are willing and able to support the cause of freedom in the Netherlands again. Let us work together and show the world that our resolve is infinite.

History shows us that Gandhi was lucky to use mass non-violence against a ruling regime like the British. If Gandhi had tried the same technique in a land ruled by Stalin, he would have disappeared from history in an unmarked grave ….. kind of like Muammar Gaddafi. There’s a lesson there I think.
