The city of New York has recently experienced a massive influx of migrants, with over 60,000 individuals arriving just before the end of Title 42, the Trump-era border policy that allowed for the return of migrants to Mexico. The migrants were bussed north by left-wing New York City Mayor Eric Adams to alleviate the pressure on the Big Apple as more than 10,000 people a day cross the southern border in record numbers. A shocking revelation has emerged amid this surge: homeless veterans, temporarily housed in area hotels, were evicted to accommodate this wave of illegals. The evictions carried out in Newburgh and Middletown have left many veterans displaced, with their already challenging lives further destabilized.

Examples like Klaus Roth, a senior social worker forced to surrender his residence to accommodate six asylum seekers despite his health conditions, highlight the stark reality citizens face.
The American Betrayal: Homeless Veterans Displaced in New York
Tragically, the mistreatment of veterans is not confined to Europe; it has now found its way to the United States. Newburgh, New York, became the stage for an appalling incident where homeless veterans were uprooted from their temporary housing to accommodate hordes of unknown migrants transported from New York City.
