Failure of Mass-Immigration: Somali Culture Night in Minneapolis School Turns Violent - Shooting, Stabbing, 50-Person Brawl (Video)

A planned Somali cultural event and performance at Washburn High School on May 27, 2023, in Minneapolis took a dark turn as fights, stabbings, and even gunfire broke out. The incident, which involved around 50 cultural enrichers, sheds light on the challenges and tensions that can arise when mass-immigration brings together cultures with vastly different values.

Incident

On the evening of the planned event, chaos ensued at the left-wing-controlled Washburn High School. Dispatch audio recordings indicate that a fight broke out, resulting in one person being stabbed. As police responded to the scene, shots were reportedly fired, leading to a city-wide officer help call. Multiple law enforcement agencies arrived to restore order, apprehend suspects, and ensure the safety of those present.

Videos taken during the melee show a male dressed in black and red appearing to stab another individual in the back. Later, shots were heard near Busch Terrace and Pleasant Avenue, prompting a foot chase by officers. Ultimately, a 16-year-old male was arrested in connection with the shots fired, and a 17-year-old suspect was also detained.

The 17-year-old boy from St. Cloud is facing second-degree assault in the stabbing of the young man in the back, and the 16-year-old Minneapolis boy is charged with felony gun possession in connection with shots fired at least three times at the after-school event.

Somali Immigrant Community

Minneapolis is home to a significant Somali immigrant population, with Somali Americans being the second-largest immigrant group in Minnesota. Concerns have been raised about the integration of Somali immigrants into Western societies.

Reports indicate that an alarming number of Somali Americans from Minneapolis have joined Islamist terrorist groups, such as ISIS and al-Shabaab. According to Horowitz, many expressed support for Sharia law, condoned violence against those who insulted the Prophet Muhammad, and preferred living in an Islamic country rather than America.
