Moroccan Passenger Arrested After Violent Outburst at Spanish Airport (Video)

This morning, a 26-year-old Moroccan passenger created a violent scene at Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain. The disruption ensued after Ryanair airline staff declined to allow him to board due to signs of intoxication. This incident unfolded on the morning of September 21, 2023, and prompted immediate intervention by Civil Guard agents at the airport.

Upon being denied boarding, the passenger became increasingly aggressive and began to destroy various pieces of furniture in the boarding area. He was seen shouting and removing his shirt, creating a chaotic scene that alarmed both airline employees and fellow passengers.

In his fit of rage, the passenger also threatened airline staff, prompting them to distance themselves from the volatile Moroccan to prevent any potential harm. Despite their efforts, one employee was struck by the passenger’s fist, resulting in minor injuries. The disruptive passenger had a ticket booked for an early morning flight to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Civil Guard agents swiftly intervened, subduing and arresting the passenger on charges of property damage, assault, and public disorder. The incident was witnessed by airline employees and other passengers, some of whom captured images of the turmoil.

In one of the recorded moments, the agitated man can be seen grabbing a piece of furniture and attempting to hurl it at a glass door, fortunately without breaking it. The footage also shows the passenger engaging in heated arguments and attempting to physically confront another passenger waiting to board the plane.
