Czech Freedom Party Leader Blasts Government Over Migrant Onslaught, Demands German Gaurd Withdrawal (Video)

In a scathing video statement, Tomio Okamura, leader of the Czech Freedom and Direct Democracy party (SPD), has launched a fierce critique against Czech Interior Minister Vít Rakušan, holding him accountable for the influx of immigrants into the Czech Republic. Okamura’s remarks come at a time when Germany contemplates implementing border controls with Poland and the Czech Republic to curb irregular migration. In a deeply controversial decision, the Czech Republic is poised to permit German border officers to conduct patrols on Czech soil, a move widely seen as a direct challenge to Czech national sovereignty.

The Czech Freedom Party leader, himself a multicultural Czech with a Japanese father and a Moravian mother, has been an outspoken critic of illegal migration, Islamisation, and European Union policies. In his video statement, he accuses Minister Rakušan of neglecting his duties by failing to reinstate controls at the Czech state borders, thus contributing to the rising tide of immigrants transiting through the Czech Republic into Europe.

Okamura’s fiery address begins with a resounding rejection of German police intervention on Czech territory, emphasizing the need to uphold Czech sovereignty. He contends that the responsibility for the high number of illegal migrants rests squarely on Minister Rakušan’s shoulders due to his steadfast refusal to renew border controls. He points out that the situation regarding mass illegal migration into Europe, particularly from Africa and Muslim countries, is approaching unprecedented levels.

The SPD leader highlights that the number of migrants in 2022 has already surpassed the levels seen during the peak of the 2015 migration crisis. He singles out Germany, where the migrant influx is estimated at a staggering 400,000 individuals, double the previous year’s figures. Okamura goes on to cite admissions from some German opposition politicians who openly acknowledge their country’s struggles in managing such massive migration.

In response to the non-functional Schengen system and the complexities of the migration situation, Germany is contemplating the reinstatement of permanent border controls with the Czech Republic and Poland. German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser has even proposed deploying German police on Czech territory to achieve this goal, a suggestion that Okamura vehemently opposes as an infringement on Czech sovereignty.
