Open Borders Germany on High Alert: Thuringia's Chief Sounds Alarm Over Looming 'Self-Inflicted' Islamic Terror Threat

Germany – Thuringia’s Chief of Constitutional Protection, Stephan Kramer, has issued a warning about Islamic terrorist attacks in the state. He believes that it is to be expected that Muslims and Hamas sympathizers will not limit themselves to demonstrations. He stated that the situation is “extremely emotionally charged,” and there is “an abstract high level of threat” in an interview with the Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland.

Kramer primarily attributes the reasons for this to migration policy. “Since 2015, more and more people [Muslims] have been fleeing to Germany. Now, we are entering a phase where many are finding neither personal nor professional progress,” he noted. He predicted that this frustration would lead to even more violence. In the countries of origin of migrants, antisemitism is deeply ingrained. Kramer emphasized that the current state of danger is self-inflicted, as politics has “not made real progress in integration.”

In addition to Islamic perpetrators of violence in the context of the Middle East conflict, left-wing and so-called “right-wing” antisemitism are also a threat, as emphasized by the former General Secretary of the Central Council of Jews in Germany. Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, Jews have once again become “lightning rods, perfectly suited for venting frustrations.”
