Ozoir-la-Ferrière, France – Several teenagers were left injured, two of them severely, after a shocking altercation on a train near Paris early Monday morning. The fight, which broke out around 8 a.m. as the teens were on their way to school, involved a range of weapons, including an axe, a knife, a samurai sword, and a baseball bat. The incident has terrified the community, with police working to piece together the events that led to this brutal encounter.
Emergency responders arrived at Ozoir-la-Ferrière train station after reports of violence on board. When police arrived, they found a grisly scene; images circulating on social media show victims lying in pools of blood on the platform.
According to initial reports, four teenagers, all aged between 16 and 17, suffered various injuries. One victim reportedly lost a hand in the fray, while another sustained a skull fracture. Paramedics quickly transported the injured to a nearby hospital, confirming that, despite the severity of their injuries, none were in life-threatening condition.
Local law enforcement promptly arrested the suspected main aggressor, a 16-year-old male, at his home. Authorities are continuing their investigation and searching for up to ten additional individuals believed to be involved in the incident. It remains unclear what initially sparked the altercation, though police are treating it as a gang-related dispute.
