Canada in Uproar: Conservative Deputy Leader Melissa Lantsman Eviscerates Trudeau in Viral Speech Over Anti-Israel Riots

In a fiery parliamentary address that has gone viral, Canadian MP Melissa Lantsman, the Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, which is Canada’s official opposition, unleashed a blistering critique of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Her speech followed a weekend of chaos in Montreal, where riots erupted as leftist and Muslim mobs violently rioted, attacking law enforcement and threatening the lives of Jews. All while the Prime Minister was seen dancing with teenagers at a Taylor Swift concert.

The juxtaposition of Trudeau’s public revelry with the escalating violence on Canadian streets has ignited outrage across the nation. Canadians took to social media, particularly TwitterX, to express their dismay at what they called the Prime Minister’s “Nero-like” detachment.

Lantsman’s parliamentary speech captured the sentiment of a growing number of Canadians who feel their country is spiraling into lawlessness. She spoke with palpable anger and sadness, painting a picture of a nation that has lost its way under Trudeau’s leadership.

Lantsman’s Viral Speech: A Wake-Up Call for Canada

“This weekend, we saw an out-of-control mob take over the streets of one of the country’s biggest cities,” Lantsman began. “They openly and proudly spewed hatred, spread violence, and thumbed their noses at the values that every single parliamentarian in this place I know holds dear. Burning cars, injuring police officers, chanting slogans like ‘The final solution is coming’—this is not the Canada I recognize.”

Lantsman accused Trudeau of emboldening such extremism through his government’s policies and rhetoric, citing his support for an International Court ruling that equated Israel, a liberal democracy, with terrorist organizations. “This is very much Canada now, Mr. Speaker,” she said, “a Canada where law and order are a thing of the past.”

Trudeau’s Leadership Under Fire

The deputy PM’s speech didn’t stop at condemning the riots; it delved into what she called Trudeau’s systematic dismantling of Canada’s moral and civic foundations. Lantsman referenced the rise in hate crimes, including the firebombing of synagogues and vandalism of Jewish businesses. “It is no longer extraordinary to wake up to news of another bomb threat at a Jewish school,” she lamented.

She contrasted Trudeau’s swift action during the peaceful Freedom Convoy protests—which saw emergency powers invoked, bank accounts frozen, and arrests made—with his inaction on the riots targeting Jewish communities. “Bouncy castles and hot tubs equaled a national emergency, but torching cars and celebrating actual terrorists is considered ‘peaceful protest’ by this government,” she said.

A Nation Divided

Lantsman painted a grim picture of a Canada increasingly fractured along ideological lines. “The Prime Minister has divided Canadians by race, religion, gender, age, wealth, and even vaccine status,” she said. “He has systematically attacked the pillars of our country—our criminal justice system, our charter of freedoms, and even our national symbols.”

She also took aim at the Liberal government’s handling of immigration, claiming it has allowed terrorists and lawbreakers to enter Canada without proper vetting. “The Prime Minister told everyone that Canada is a ‘post-national state’ with no core identity. This weekend, we saw the natural consequence of that ideology.”

Canadians Demand Change

The deputy PM concluded her speech with a call to action, urging Canadians to reject the divisive and destructive policies of the Trudeau government. “Canadians want to wake up from this woke nightmare and bring back the Canada we used to know,” she said. “These are not the Canadians you’ll find rioting in Montreal or camping out on university lawns. They are the shop owners, the workers, and the families trying to build a life. And they deserve better.”

Lantsman’s speech, now widely shared across social media, has become a rallying cry for those frustrated with the Trudeau government. With elections on the horizon, her impassioned words may signal a turning point in Canadian politics—a moment when common-sense conservatism takes center stage.
