Marked for Violence: Rasmus Paludan Attacked While Filming Public Islamic Event as Media and Leaders Turn a Blind Eye (Video)

Danish politician and founder of the Hard Line Party (Stram Kurs), Rasmus Paludan, was violently attacked yet again—this time while peacefully filming an Islamic missionary event in a public square. The attack, which occurred in broad daylight, highlights the dangerous reality faced by those who dare to challenge the spread of Islamization in Europe.

Paludan described the incident, saying, “I was hit in the forehead with the sharp end of a mobile phone on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 4:48 PM. I stood minding my own business while filming Muslims spreading Islam in Denmark. As has now become standard, I was surrounded by foreigners who insulted me in a foreign language. I repeated their own word, and that’s when the assault happened.”

The Double Standard

Paludan was quick to highlight the carefully and purposefully chosen selective enforcement in Danish society when it comes to political violence. Just recently, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen received widespread sympathy after a minor incident where she was bumped into on the street. Similarly, Danish Health Minister Magnus Heunicke was met with overwhelming public support when a journalist peacefully confronted him about his policies.

“What happened to me has been ignored by the press and politicians,” Paludan stated. “Had the attacker been a drunken Pole, I might have received a wave of sympathy. But because he was Middle Eastern, the sympathy automatically lies with him. That would be the case even if he had killed me.”

Paludan didn’t mince words when describing the treatment he receives compared to others:

“It’s not about whether I or anyone else is subjected to violence. It’s about the fact that 95% of Danish journalists, politicians, and opinion-makers want me to be subjected to violence—preferably deadly violence. That’s the final solution they’re all secretly hoping for.”

Media Silence: Complicity or Cowardice?

The attack marks the fourth time in 2024 alone that Paludan has been subjected to violence serious enough to require police intervention. Yet none of these incidents have been reported by Denmark’s mainstream media.

Paludan criticized what he calls the “liar press,” pointing out that were it not for independent outlets like Frihedens Stemme, it would be as though these assaults never happened. He further accused the media of celebrating his suffering:

“No editor in the country will write about this because they fear I might receive sympathy. The reality is, they get aroused when they hear someone has attacked me or assaulted me.”

The Broader Reality

This violent incident underscores a grim truth: Europe’s leaders and media have abandoned those who fight to preserve their nations. Paludan’s mere presence at a public Islamic event, which aimed to spread Islam and convert Danes, was enough to provoke a physical attack within seconds. This reflects not only the hostility toward Paludan personally but also the growing rejection of free speech, Western values, and the rule of law by some immigrant communities.

It also exposes the complicity of European leadership, who remain silent when their own citizens—like Paludan—face violence for peacefully challenging Islamization. Instead of protecting his rights, they ignore his plight or, worse, actively work to silence him.

A Relentless Struggle

Despite enduring relentless violence, attacks, and state persecution, Paludan refuses to back down. This latest assault will not deter him from his mission to expose the growing influence of Islam in Denmark and across Europe.

As Paludan recently told RAIR Foudation in a powerful interview, “As long as I have breath, I’ll keep fighting for Denmark and the West.”
