An Islamic terrorist attack has sent shockwaves through the Christian community following a brutal stabbing incident targeting Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel during his sermon at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley around 7:15 PM local time (9:15 AM GMT).
The assailant, identified as a 15-year-old male bearded jihadi speaking in Arabic, launched a frenzied attack on the Assyrian Bishop, stabbing him multiple times while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” Three other Christians were also stabbed by the terrorist known to police while trying to protect the beloved Bishop.
Concerns and Allegations
This terror attack on the Christian community has raised concerns about Islam’s compatibility with a free society and has highlighted allegations of media censorship and distortion of truth.
Police Response and Community Reaction
Police responded to the scene, apprehending the 15-year-old jihadi who the congregants had subdued. The Bishop sustained several stab wounds before churchgoers intervened, restraining the attacker until the arrival of law enforcement. Disturbingly, in a video capturing the ordeal, the terrorist is seen laughing as the Christian community holds him down.
The severity of the situation prompted the deployment of over 100 officers to manage the ensuing unrest as a large crowd gathered outside the church, demanding that the suspected attacker be brought out.
Injuries and Community Outrage
In addition to Bishop Emmanuel, three others were injured, including a priest named Father Isaac Royel. Fortunately, all four victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos and anger reflecting the community’s shock and outrage at the brazen Islamic attack on a Christian Bishop. “There was so much anger because the bishop is loved by them, he’s loved by myself as well, he preaches about the Lord and we love the Lord,” expressed a local resident named Canny.
Media’s Whitewashing of Islam
This attack has reignited concerns regarding Islam’s role in a free society. Bishop Emmanuel’s outspoken criticism of Islam has made him a target of the Islamic community.

A journalist, Ian Miles Cheon, on X, reports that the terrorist was saying in Arabic: “Why is he swearing at my prophet? I wouldn’t have come here if he didn’t bring my religion into this.”
Under Sharia, those who insult Muhammad or Allah are to be executed, as are those who desecrate the Quran or commit other acts of blasphemy. This tradition traces back to Muhammad, as recorded in the Hadith and by his biographers, with a Quranic basis for it.
Media’s Narrative and Bias
In the aftermath of the attack, questions have been raised about the media’s handling of the incident, particularly regarding the alleged deletion of audio footage capturing the assailant’s cries of “Allahu akbar.” Additionally, reports indicate that media outlets have downplayed the religiously motivated nature of the attack, instead focusing on the Bishop’s vaccine beliefs.
Bishop Emmanuel’s Profile and Media Influence
Bishop Emmanuel maintains a sizable social media presence, with 17,000 followers on Facebook and 200,000 subscribers on YouTube. Videos he has posted on TikTok have garnered millions of views.
He gained notoriety during Australia’s Covid lockdown for his views on vaccines, which drew ire from the left-wing establishment. He has also faced criticism from the left-wing media for his Christian beliefs opposing LGBTQ demands. In July 2021, at the peak of the pandemic, he described lockdown restrictions as “mass slavery,” contending that the risks posed by COVID-19 had been “exaggerated” and that vaccines were unnecessary because people’s natural immune systems would combat the virus.
The media’s focus has shifted away from discussing the threat Islam poses to non-Islamic communities, particularly the Christian and Jewish communities in Australia. Instead, they have attempted to discredit the Bishop and his congregants. The media’s narrative paints a distorted picture, labeling the Bishop’s followers as violent and attributing a “near-riot” to them for protesting the attack, despite the fact that it was they who subdued the jihadi without causing harm.
This portrayal ignores the reality of the situation: it was an Islamic terrorist who attempted to kill the head of the church and other worshippers. The media fails to mention Quranic verses such as Qur’an 47:4, which justifies attacks on unbelievers with the directive to “strike the necks” when encountered.
Lack of Addressing Root Causes
Furthermore, the media and left-wing leaders have neglected to report on or take action against radical imams preaching violence in mosques across Australia. They have turned a blind eye to jihadists openly calling for the death of followers of other religions within their country. This selective reporting and lack of action perpetuates a dangerous narrative and fails to address the root causes of Islamic extremism within the community.
Developments and Media Rumors
In the aftermath of the attack, questions have been raised about the media’s handling of the incident, particularly regarding the alleged deletion of audio footage capturing the assailant’s cries of “Allahu akbar.” Additionally, reports show that media outlets have downplayed or refused to report the religiously motivated nature of the attack, instead focusing on theBishop’ss vaccine beliefs and the Christian communities anger at the attack.
New South Wales police have announced that the jihadi responsible for the attack has been brought to an “undisclosed location,” Acting Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland confirmed. Additionally, Holland stated that the teenager, who has yet to be identified, has requested to speak with his parents, a request that the authorities are actively working to accommodate.
Amidst these developments, reports have emerged suggesting that the assailant has sustained severe hand injuries. Rumors circulating indicate that the injuries may have been inflicted in an act of revenge following the stabbing at the Assyrian Orthodox Church. The New York Post has reported on these rumors, highlighting the potential repercussions the perpetrator faces. It’s worth noting that while the New York Post did not report on the assailant’s shouting of ‘Allahu Akbar,’ they are now reporting on the injuries sustained, attributing them to the Christian community.
Pray for a speedy recovery for the priest. The media and the assailant can burn in hell.
Best to home/family church or meet with likeminded in small groups. Many in the U.S. have been doing this already. The E.U. and Australia are not free to own guns or protect themselves, so they can stream services at home.

People blaspheme Christ, God, and The Holy Spirit on a regular basis. Do you see Christians stabbing those who blaspheme? I don’t see that happening? Like I said before, it is for God’s judgement. It is a question of faith. God takes care of business. It may not be when you want or fast enough, but God takes care of business. Have faith in your Lord.
