The idyllic Bavarian town of Aschaffenburg was shattered on January 22, 2025, when a violent knife attack claimed two innocent lives and left three others seriously injured in Schöntal Park. The perpetrator, a 28-year-old Afghan man, was a failed asylum seeker who should have been deported long ago. This tragedy exposes not only the dangers of open-border policies but also the sinister intentions of those who appear determined to change Germany’s demographics, weaken the nation, and harm its people.
The Attack: A Horrific Scene
At approximately 11:45 a.m., the attacker targeted a kindergarten group and passersby with a kitchen knife, killing a two-year-old boy of Moroccan descent and a 41-year-old German man. The heroic passerby intervened to protect the children, sacrificing his life in the process. A teacher fleeing the scene broke her arm.
Bavarian officials report that two adults and a two-year-old Syrian girl were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. None of their lives are in danger.
The nine-hectare park, previously flagged as a “dangerous place” due to rising crime—crimes fueled in no small part by mass migration—was cordoned off as emergency responders and police secured the area. The suspect, apprehended by brave bystanders and law enforcement, is now in custody.
Failed Asylum Policies: A Tragedy Foretold
The attacker, identified as Enamullah O., entered Germany in November 2022 and applied for asylum in early 2023. On December 4, 2024, he informed authorities of his intention to voluntarily leave Germany and seek papers from the Afghan consulate. A week later, German authorities formally closed his asylum proceedings and issued an order for him to leave the country. Despite this, he remained in Germany.
Bavaria’s Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann revealed that the attacker had come to authorities’ attention at least three times for acts of violence. On each occasion, he was sent for psychiatric treatment and later released.
Herrmann added that suspicions point to the attacker’s psychiatric illness as a potential motive. A search of his room in a refugee home uncovered medication consistent with psychiatric treatment.
“Misunderstood tolerance is completely inappropriate,” said Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Yet his government, alongside open-border advocates, has not only ignored the consequences of their policies but also enabled tragedies like this to occur.
A Pattern of Neglect
This tragedy is far from an isolated incident. It is part of a disturbing trend of violent acts committed by failed asylum seekers who should have been deported. Politicians like Scholz and Green Party leader Robert Habeck routinely express “shock” and “horror” at these attacks but fail to address the systemic issues that make them inevitable. Meanwhile, AfD leader Tino Chrupalla has provided the only clear, actionable response, demanding immediate deportations of dangerous asylum seekers and the restoration of public spaces for families.
The Victims: Innocence Stolen
The attack claimed the lives of two innocent individuals:
- A two-year-old Moroccan boy was fatally stabbed in front of his classmates.
- A 41-year-old German man bravely confronted the attacker to protect others.
Their loss is a tragic reminder of how ideological policies have failed to prioritize public safety.
AfD: A Voice of Reason in Chaos
In the wake of this tragedy, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has emerged as a beacon of clarity and courage. AfD leader Tino Chrupalla emphasized, “Dangerous asylum seekers must be deported. We want to maintain diplomatic contacts with Afghanistan to this end.” The AfD’s demands include clearing criminal elements from parks, strictly enforcing deportation orders, and putting German citizens’ safety first.
Enough Is Enough
How many more innocent lives must be sacrificed before Germany’s leaders take decisive action? The bloodbath in Aschaffenburg is not just a tragedy—it is a predictable outcome of open-border policies that prioritize ideological agendas over the well-being of the German people.
It is time for Germany to reclaim its sovereignty, enforce its borders, and protect its citizens. The public deserves better—leaders with the courage to prioritize national safety and restore law and order.
The time for apologies and half-measures is over. It’s time for a safer, stronger Germany.
