With Christmas just six weeks away, special anti-terror firs made of concrete serve as protection at Essen’s Christmas market.
A visit to the holiday decorated square shows the green Christmas tree-shaped concrete blocks deployed to protect the stalls from Islamic jihad terrorist attacks.
The blocks, 1.8 meters high and weighing around three tons, were installed at the market’s’ entrance which faces the city main station.
The manufacturer of the concrete Christmas firs, Jurgen Beck, said: “Essen is the first Christmas market which we equip with the concrete firs.” Beck reported this year he will deliver around 300 concrete blocks to other Germany Christmas markets. Beck reports he also has special concrete terror free snowmen as well.
Security around Christmas markets tightened ever since Anis Amri, the Tunisian failed asylum seeker, deliberately drove his truck into the Christmas market next to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church at Breitscheidplatz in Berlin leaving 12 people dead and over 60 others injured. Amri was later shot dead by authorities in Italy while on the run. German security have already prevented seven terrorist attacks since the 2016.
The idea for the business came to Beck after his two daughters witnessed the Christmas market jihad attack in which the Islamic state claimed responsibility.
Angela Merkel’s regime is so suicidal, that she would rather have Germany’s Christmas markets install terror-proof trees and snowman than have to close her borders and stop mass jihad illegal migration. It is quite evident her government does not care about the victims of its own failed “refugee” policy.

I live in Germany (as a very law-abiding, integrated foreigner) and I see first-hand the disastrous effects of Merkel’s dangerous, globalist policies and her love of mass immigration. To quote Merkel the Jerkel, “Islam is part of Germany.” Translated that means, terrorism is part of Germany. The first year that concrete blocks were put up around German Christmas markets, the complicit German mainstream media celebrated the safety of those markets due to all the security measures. Hello??? This is insane!
