Clash in the Netherlands: ANTIFA Targets Feminists Advocating for Safety from Men Identifying as Women (Video)

Utrecht, Netherlands – A feminist demonstration in Utrecht took an aggressive turn on Saturday. Members of the classical feminist organization Let Women Speak were met with aggressive opposition from the far-left group ANTIFA. The feminists were gathered to discuss critical issues surrounding women’s safety and rights, including concerns about men identifying as women accessing female-only spaces and sports.

The Let Women Speak event aimed to shed light on women’s safety and rights, specifically focusing on the Transgender Act, the Motherhood Act, and the controversial participation of men in women’s sports. The organizers emphasized the need for open and substantive conversations about these topics, which they believe have been suppressed by trans activists.

“We want to come to the table at talk shows, newspapers, and political parties to announce the opinion of women,” a representative from Let Women Speak stated. “So far, that hasn’t worked, and there is a kind of ‘no debate’ enforced by trans activists, which effectively silences us.”

The demonstration was interrupted by ANTIFA activists, who staged a counter-protest marked by loud noises, pride flags, and an aggressive stance towards the feminists. The presence of riot police (ME) was a visible sign of the tension as they worked to prevent clashes between the two groups.

An ANTIFA protester asserted, “They are transphobic, and we are feminists who also include trans people in our feminism.” The counter-protesters accused Let Women Speak of promoting exclusionary and harmful rhetoric towards ‘trans-women,’ or men who identify as women.

Despite the hostile environment, representatives from Let Women Speak remained resolute. They voiced concerns about allowing men who identify as women to participate in women’s sports and access women’s spaces, arguing that this compromises the safety and rights of biological women. One speaker explained, “Everyone can be what they want to be, look like what they want to look like, and dress however they want. But that doesn’t mean that if a man says he feels like a woman, he should have access to women’s competitions or changing rooms.”

Tensions escalated when reports suggested that ANTIFA had prepared for violence, although ANTIFA members claimed these were merely self-defense techniques in case of police intervention. The significant police presence was a testament to the potential for violence, with both sides acknowledging the threat.

A Let Women Speak representative described past incidents of ANTIFA violence, stating, “ANTIFA has shown that they use a lot of violence. Everyone can see the video from our previous two demonstrations.”

The day’s events illustrated how the left is waging a war on women using the language of 4th wave feminism. The notion that a man who claims to be a woman must be given equal status, even more, significant in some cases than genuine females, is seen as a direct attack on the very identity of womanhood itself. Forcing people to repeat the lie that a man who claims to be a woman genuinely is a woman is an attack on our very sense of reality and the right to express it as we know it to be.
