The Hamas attacks are not simply about Israel. Just as the Jihad in Kashmir is not just about India, and 9/11 was not just about America. What we are experiencing is not a series of local events responses to specific conflicts but the continuation of an Islamic Jihad against a civilization that’s been going on for over a thousand years.
Until we recognize that, we will be stuck having to justify our existence and constantly defend against Islamic claims that we are the oppressors and that the conflict is particular rather than general while we are divided and conquered. Only when we see the bigger pattern do we have any hope of winning.

I shun and avoid 95% of them. There are the 5% that are reasonable and decent people. Pretty much the same with most types of people I have encountered. However, the other types of people don’t want to kill me or my family like the hardline islamos.
