The decision, heavily promoted on social media, has been met with accusations of capitulation to Sharia and the ongoing Islamization of the country.
The borough, known for its large Muslim community, 36%, has witnessed a growing demand for concessions to Sharia and Islamic practices. A controversial video shared on social media depicted a Muslim woman in Sharia attire being discreetly guided to a private area by a poll worker, allowing her to unveil her face for identification purposes. The accompanying caption emphasized the availability of segregated spaces and female staff at polling stations to cater to those wearing religious face coverings.

This move isn’t just a simple accommodation; it’s a glaring example of Western societies caving to Islamic demands, paving the way for the slow, steady imposition of Sharia law.
By normalizing the niqab at the ballot box, authorities are sending a dangerous signal that Islamic Sharia practices are not only tolerated but promoted. It’s a slap in the face to the principles of freedom and equality that the country was built on.
Sharia is nothing but discriminatory, oppressive, and completely incompatible with the values of freedom and equality that Western societies hold dear. It’s a direct threat to democracy, fueling violence, religious intolerance, and gender inequality wherever it takes root. These concessions might seem small on the surface, but make no mistake – they’re strategic victories in the broader Islamic agenda to expand their influence and conquer non-Islamic countries.
