EXCLUSIVE: Million Person March Coast to Coast against SOGI announced for Canada (Video)

Canada is bracing for what could become one of the most significant and controversial protests in its history—a Million Person March against Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) curriculums in schools, set to take place nationwide.

RAIR had the opportunity to sit down with Kamil Al Shiek, the driving force behind last year’s influential protest, during a recent fundraiser outside Ottawa. The event was in support of the legal defense of a truck driver still facing trials for their involvement in the 2021 Freedom Convoy—a protest that led Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to invoke the War Measures Act, now rebranded as the Emergency Measures Act. This drastic action was later deemed “unreasonable and unconstitutional” by the Federal Court of Canada.

In our interview, Kamil shared exclusive details about the upcoming march, confirming that it will now be an annual event, with this year’s march scheduled for Friday, September 20, 2024. The event will run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time across the nation, making it an all-day affair. Kamil emphasized the importance of preparing for the day by bringing children, food, snacks, and anything else needed to make the day enjoyable for families. “The whole country is expected to walk together at the same time,” Kamil stated, highlighting the unity of the event.

During our discussion, Kamil dropped a bombshell: he accused the Canadian government of secretly funding ANTIFA and other leftist groups, which were disguised as “anti-hate” organizations, to counter last year’s peaceful protest. These groups, far from being genuine advocates against hate, are part of a radical left-wing network used to intimidate, attack, and defame those who oppose the government’s agenda. According to Kamil, the Trudeau government allocated $1.5 million to these so-called “anti-hate” organizations to organize counter-protests that started even before the Million Person March could begin.

This tactic follows a playbook similar to one used in Germany, where ANTIFA is reportedly state-backed and deployed to crush political dissent. RAIR has long warned Western governments about such disturbing strategies, noting that in Germany, ANTIFA has been used as a tool by the government to silence political opponents through violence and intimidation. It now appears that Canada may be adopting these same troubling tactics.

Kamil described last year’s event as a “lesson learned,” particularly in cities like Toronto, Montreal, and parts of Alberta, where ANTIFA-led counter-protesters blockaded streets to disrupt the march. This year, organizers have decided to start the march earlier to outmaneuver any government-sponsored opposition and ensure that the event remains peaceful and family-friendly. Kamil has coordinated closely with law enforcement to maintain the peaceful nature of the event, ensuring it remains a celebration of Canadian values and a stand for nuclear families.
