Open Borders Crisis: Geert Wilders Calls for Army Intervention if Migrant Center Continues to Terrorize Community (Video)

Ter Apel, Netherlands – The village of Ter Apel, located in the northern Netherlands, finds itself at the epicenter of an escalating debate as the country’s largest permanent asylum-seeker reception center struggles with overcrowding and rising criminal activities. With its capacity already exceeded, the center has become a hotbed of concerns for the local community and authorities.

Adding fuel to the fire, arrests have previously been made at the center, highlighting the issue of safety and security. For example, a 29-year-old Syrian, allegedly a former Ahrar al-Sham jihadi group commander, was apprehended on suspicion of war crimes. Such arrests have heightened anxieties about potential risks associated with housing a large number of asylum-seekers, some of whom may pose a threat to the surrounding community.

Local law enforcement officials have reported that migrants staying at the overcrowded center have been involved in criminal activities, further exacerbating concerns. Instances of shoplifting and destruction have become a recurring problem, prompting residents to demand immediate action to address the situation. The growing tension surrounding the issue prompted Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV), to pay a visit to Ter Apel a couple of weeks ago to address the local residents’ concerns.

During his visit, Wilders passionately spoke to the crowd about the nuisance caused by a group of asylum-seekers from the reception center. “Your police must be there evenings and nights. And if they can’t be, then send in the army. But you must be safe,” he asserted, highlighting the need for enhanced security measures to protect the community.
