Shortly before attending an open borders conference in Berlin, Hamas-Linked CAIR’s Sufyan Sohel was in Chicago “training” U.S. Border Patrol agents on President Trump’s “bigoted” policies.
Sufyan Sohel, the Deputy Director of the Chicago branch of the HAMAS-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) “trained” Border Patrol Agents on 15 October 2019, as reported at the Center for Security Policy. On November 6, Sohel bragged about attending the BMW Foundations 3rd Annual Global Forum, which, according to their 2018 annual report, acknowledges being “proponents” for “open borders” and explains that they are working with “Responsible Leaders” to “positively change society in keeping with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.”
And yes, they are funded by BMW.
CAIR’s involvement with an open borders organization is no surprise, as they have been active in the hard left’s open border movement (See here and here).

Not only was HAMAS-Linked CAIR’s Sohel able to penetrate the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Sohel trashed the President’s policies as “bigoted” and echoed the completely unsourced claim that so-called “Islamophobia” is on the rise.

According to the CAIR-Chicago website, Sohel:
“…gave an overview of Islamic faith traditions, illustrated the rich diversity of the Muslim community, and delved into the rise of Islamophobia and how bigoted policies, including the Muslim Travel Bans, affect Muslims and other marginalized communities.”
Border Patrol agents were “trained” by the same man who wrote just three days ago that he “wanted to scream ‘Islamophobia’ and call [people who ask about the hijab] bigots.” Notably, Sohel was a signatory on a 2015 letter “…American Muslim Solidarity Against Police Brutality” around the time of the controversy surrounding the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, a chaotic period exploited by communist organizations as well as CAIR.
CAIR also promoted their “Travelers Assistance Project“, TAP, which “aims to help at-risk travelers due to the travel bans with legal assistance on the ground and beyond is strengthened by the partnership of some of the key immigration players in Chicago…”
CAIR gushes:
“We are grateful that CBP’s local leadership granted us this opportunity to present the perspectives and stories of Muslim travelers.”
As a citizen journalist who has followed CAIR for several years, it is offensive and unacceptable that the federal government would allow tax-payer funded employees to interact in any capacity with an group that has demonstrable ties to a designated terror organization.

*If you agree that CAIR has no business coming anywhere near America’s Border Patrol Officers, much less engaging in “training” sessions with them, contact the local Chicago CBP office AND the National office. Document your calls or emails. Be polite but firm. Keep RAIR apprised of your ideas and your progress and we may be able to offer assistance and/or publish your story.
