Large groups of pro-terrorist protesters occupied Times Square in Manhattan to express their animosity towards Israel and Jews.
Many of these terror-supporting protesters wore masks to conceal their identities.
This rally comes as police in New York and other U.S. cities announced an increase in patrols around synagogues and other Jewish institutions.
In recent days, Israel has escalated its strikes on Gaza in response to the terror attacks on southern Israel last weekend by Islamic terrorists from the Iranian-backed terror group Hamas. Hamas rules the crowded coastal Palestinian enclave, which was seized from Egypt by Israel in 1967.
The Hamas rampage resulted in the death of at least 1,300 Israelis, marking the deadliest Palestinian attack on the Jewish state in its history.
After taking over Times Square, Hamas supporters marched to the Israeli Consulate:
Genocidal chants against Jews
Muslims from the group were draped in their Palestinian war scarfs (keffiyehs), which many believe to be the modern equivalent of the Nazi swastika while chanting genocidal anti-Jewish Islamic chants. For example, mobs screamed, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free,” this is code for eradicating the State of Israel and its millions of Jews.
During the demonstration procession, chants could be heard paying homage to the terrorist organization Hamas or calling for the annihilation of the state of Israel, such as “Stop the weapons, stop the war, intifada until victory.” The first (1987) and second intifada (2000) describe violent uprisings and terrorism against Jewish Israelis. Bomb and gun attacks, among other things, were committed during the two intifadas. The call “Intifada until victory” is directed against Israel’s right to exist.
The slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” which was often called out on Saturday, also calls for the annihilation of Israel. The river means the Jordan River, which runs east of Israel’s territory, and the sea means the Mediterranean Sea, which borders Israel to the west. The slogan negates Israel’s right to exist as a protective Jewish state. Demonstrators also chanted the slogan “Child murderer Israel.” It is no coincidence that the slogan is reminiscent of the medieval blood libel, an old anti-Jewish conspiracy tale.
