The Islamization of Germany: Frankfurt Succumbs to Ramadan Lights

As the evening of March 10th approaches, Frankfurt braces itself for an alarming transformation reminiscent of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The city will soon be adorned with Ramadan celebrations, featuring glittering lights and radiant lanterns, resembling the festive atmosphere of Saudi’s capital. This eerie similarity is a stark reminder of the encroachment of Islam into the heart of Europe.

Currently, between 100,000 and 150,000 Muslims live in Frankfurt, constituting almost 15 percent of the total population. Since Monday morning, trucks have been arriving in Frankfurt on behalf of the city government. Workers are unpacking the stars and crescents, pulling up the lights, and connecting them to the city’s power grid. Everything was purchased brand new from abroad, with the city of Frankfurt opting to invest between 50,000 and 100,000 euros. Instead of circulating the city’s funds back into German businesses, the money went to Islamic nations.

Taking inspiration from Islamized London’s precedent, which introduced Ramadan lighting near the iconic Piccadilly Circus in 2023, Frankfurt aims to emulate this homage to Muslims. The scale of the lights in Frankfurt is comparable to those in London, as touted by officials from Germany’s left-wing Green Party, the proponents of the controversial motion. This motion, which the Christian Democratic Union of Germany denied last year, sought to decorate the city. It seems Muslims and their left-wing enablers in both Frankfurt and London are essentially competing to showcase which city has Islamized the most rapidly and extensively.

While Germany allows Muslims to emulate Christian traditions by illuminating its streets for Ramadan, it shamelessly neglects to reciprocate during Christian festivities in Islamic nations. In Saudi Arabia, a country known for its strict adherence to Islamic law, the public practice of any religion other than Islam is prohibited. Churches are nonexistent, and the mere possession of non-Islamic religious items can result in severe repercussions.

Yet, in a shameful twist, Germany willingly relinquishes its own cultural heritage to accommodate Islamic practices. In a desperate bid to avoid offending Muslims, many Western nations, including Germany, are systematically erasing Christian traditions from public discourse. The once-ubiquitous “Merry Christmas” has been replaced with the sterile “Happy Holidays,” signaling a troubling trend of cultural self-censorship.

The erosion of Christian customs extends beyond mere semantics. Schools cancel Christmas celebrations to appease Muslim sensitivities, while stores abandon festive decorations, declaring themselves “Muslim-friendly.” In Munich, a multicultural “winter market” features a snowman veiled in a burqa, absurdly touted as a symbol of tolerance. Such grotesque displays highlight the absurd lengths to which Europe bends over backward to accommodate Islam.

Meanwhile, the threat of Islamist terrorism looms large over Christmas markets across Germany and Western Europe. Concrete barriers fortify traditional markets, while bomb threats force evacuations and arrests. Yet, it is not Muslims who abolish Christmas; it is the Christian secularists who willingly capitulate, forsaking their own traditions while embracing those who preach death or conversion towards Christians and non-believers alike.

As Germany succumbs to the allure of Ramadan lights, it must confront the uncomfortable truth: the erosion of its cultural identity in the name of political correctness only serves to embolden those who seek to destroy its values and conquer its nation. It is high time for Europe to reclaim its heritage and stand firm against the dangerous encroachment of Islam.
