In response to the escalating threat of sexual harassment on its shores, the French city of Marseille has expanded its ‘Safer Beach‘ program, a controversial measure initially launched last year to help protect women against sexual violence and harassment on its beaches. Despite its popularity amongst local women, critics argue that this is a short-term fix to a more profound crisis fuelled by mass Islamic migration into the city.
Marseille, known for its dense population of Muslim migrants, has recently been spotlighted as a hotbed of migrant-related issues. The ‘Safer Beach’ program, spearheaded by left-leaning council members, is one initiative designed to alleviate these issues. The program uses a free app that allows women and witnesses to report sexist and sexual harassment incidents on the beach, which subsequently dispatches specially trained mediators to the scene.
More than one in three women aged 18 to 34 have been victims of harassment on the beach, according to a 2021 YouGov survey cited by the Marseille city hall. Nathalie Tessier, the municipal councilor for women’s rights in Marseille, hopes the app will shift the blame from the victim to the harasser. Tessier elaborated that the mediators are equipped to ensure the victim’s safety while engaging with the suspected harasser.
Initially limited to one beach, the program operates across four Marseille beaches – Pointe-Rouge, Bonneveine, Catalans, and Corbières until August 31. Around 15 mediators trained in violence prevention and consent education have been deployed, distinguishable by their white ‘Mediation – Safer Plage’ jerseys.
The system operates through the ‘Safer’ application, initially designed to combat sexual aggression in festive environments. Women can activate one of three alert levels – ‘I feel uncomfortable,’ ‘I am being harassed,’ or ‘I am in danger.’ In its inaugural year, the program reportedly benefited 1346 women, a success that Tessier attributes to the mediators’ visible presence on the beach, acting as a deterrent.
However, while the program is lauded for its immediate relief, concerns persist regarding the broader implications. Sophie Pioro, director of the feminist association Solidarité Femmes 13, questions the follow-up process and how authorities will address reported incidents.
These concerns are heightened by a disconcerting political belief that educating men on “equality” will alter their mindset, despite these men having been indoctrinated since childhood to believe that it is women’s responsibility not to arouse men by their appearance or clothing. This distorted notion effectively places the blame on women if men commit acts of rape, highlighting the stark cultural differences that manifest in our cities due to mass Islamic migration.
The program’s expansion coincides with France’s growing Muslim population, currently at 8.8%. This influx of migrants has brought with it cultural clashes and major disagreements over sexual norms and behaviors, sparking debates on integration and Islamic migration. While some advocates naively argue for integration classes to foster attitudes of gender equality among migrants, critics point out the failure of such programs in the past, reinforcing the argument that France’s mass-migration policies have been fundamentally flawed and even an issue of national cultural suicide.
Moreover, France’s open nudity culture diverges significantly from the oppressive gender norms engrained in Islamic countries. French beaches, many of which allow nudity, have seldom witnessed sexual harassment incidents. This stark contrast points to a cultural difference complicating the integration process, making it almost impossible. Amid the intensifying threat of sexual attacks by migrants, some French citizens are choosing to avoid the beach entirely.
The ‘Safer Beach’ program provides the illusion of temporary relief to women on Marseille’s beaches. However, the deep-seated cultural conflicts at play and the deeply ingrained male-centric Islamic supremacy views of Muslim migrants necessitate a more comprehensive approach. This approach should address not only immediate safety concerns but also the profound cultural chasm that underpins the crisis, questioning the feasibility of expecting an instant adaptation of values, perspectives on women, and traditions from every person who enters the country.
Trained mediators…? Goats?
THE ONLY SOLUTION:
OUT WITH ALL MUSLIMSHITS FROM EU!
COMPULSORY PENECTOMY TO ALL MUSLIM MEN STILL INSIDE EU!
NEW LAW EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!
I do not think it will work. Mohamheads have those “sexual emergencies.” The ladies all need to have bear spray, German Shepherds or Belgian Maliniois, and ice picks at a bare minimum.
Then you need a Burkhini Beach, a 20′ wall, and a Bikini Beach. Segregate the females from the heathen rapists. It is so very simple.
Ladies, there is a new fashion trend. I am selling bikinis made from fresh smoked bacon. Vogue magazine thinks I am a new rising fashion designer, and will featuring my company in their next issue. 😁
Once again this is treating the symptom
The problem is islam
The solution is to get rid of all moslem invaders by any and every means possible
If this is done a multitude of other problems will be solved as well
OBTW
How are the moslem invaders affecting tourism in Europe?
The women on Texas beaches bring their companions Smith & Wesson. Never any issues .
