Germany’s public safety crisis is spiraling out of control, and leftist politicians are offering “solutions” that do nothing but exacerbate the problem. Antje Kapek, a Green Party councilor in Berlin, has proposed introducing women-only train carriages as a response to the rampant sexual violence plaguing public transport. Instead of admitting that their open-border policies created this disaster, Kapek and her allies double down on cowardice, suggesting segregation instead of addressing the root cause: violent migrants, mainly Islamic, who refuse to respect women and the laws of their host country.

The Left’s Open-Border Catastrophe
This crisis didn’t arise in a vacuum. For years, Germany’s left-wing politicians have championed unchecked immigration, ignoring the cultural incompatibilities and lack of vetting that came with it. They welcomed millions of migrants, many from backgrounds that are culturally incompatible, with little regard for the consequences, prioritizing virtue signaling over public safety. Now, with violence against women on the rise, particularly in public transport, the same politicians who caused this mess are scrambling to cover their tracks.
Data reveals the staggering consequences of these policies:
- 55.8% of perpetrators of sexual violence on public transport are men without German nationality or with a migration background.
- In Berlin, the number of sexual offenses on buses and trains has increased by 260% over the past ten years.
- In 2023 alone, there were 391 sexual offenses on Berlin’s public transport—more than one per day.
- At train stations, German police recorded 13,543 violent crimes in the first half of 2024.
- Non-German suspects were responsible for over 50% of knife attacks in 2023, led by Syrians, Turks, and Afghans.
- In North Rhine-Westphalia, 55.8% of suspected rapists in 2023 were non-German or had a migration background, vastly disproportionate to their share of the population.
These statistics paint a grim picture of a public transport system and public spaces where women no longer feel safe. Yet, instead of addressing the obvious—migrants disproportionately committing these crimes—the left blame the “patriarchy” or proposes segregating women into “safe spaces.” This is the epitome of hypocrisy: the same politicians who tout progressive values are now proposing a policy that mirrors Islamic law’s (Sharia) segregation of women.
Kapek’s Proposal: A Symbol of Leftist Cowardice
Kapek’s call for women-only carriages is a thinly veiled admission of failure. She and her Green Party colleagues cannot acknowledge that their open-border policies brought this crisis to Germany, so they deflect with band-aid solutions that punish the victims instead of the perpetrators. Kapek’s suggestion would place women’s carriages directly behind the driver—an arrangement resembling those in Jakarta, Indonesia, where women are segregated for their safety.

By suggesting segregation, Kapek essentially places the burden of safety on women, telling them they need to hide from danger rather than demanding accountability from the men committing the violence. This is not progressive; it’s regressive. It’s an insult to the very women leftist politicians claim to champion.
Deportation Is the Real Solution
Germany doesn’t need “safe spaces” for women—it needs safe public spaces for everyone. And the solution is clear: deportation. Germany has laws that allow for the deportation of violent criminals, but left-wing politicians refuse to enforce them. Why? Because admitting the necessity of deportation would mean acknowledging that their cherished open-border policies are a colossal failure.
By refusing to take decisive action, they’re telling German women their safety is less important than the feelings of migrants who refuse to integrate. The statistics confirm that much of this violence is imported—Germany’s public spaces were not this unsafe before 2015 when the borders were opened.
A Crisis Manufactured by Ideology
This crisis didn’t happen by accident—it was manufactured by leftist ideology. Open-border advocates ignored warnings, dismissed critics as xenophobic, and prioritized their globalist agenda over the safety of German citizens. Now, faced with the consequences, they propose measures that essentially capitulate to the very cultural attitudes they imported.
The rise in violence against women on public transport is not just a safety issue; it’s a cultural and political failure. Certain cultural norms among migrants—particularly from Islamic-majority countries—devalue women and see harassment or worse as acceptable. Instead of challenging these norms or holding migrants accountable, the left enables them with weak policies and endless excuses.
Time for Accountability and Real Leadership
Germany needs leaders with the courage to admit what caused this crisis and the backbone to fix it. That means:
- Enforcing Deportations: Violent criminals who endanger women have no place in Germany. Deport them immediately, no exceptions.
- Closing Borders: Germany must prioritize the safety of its citizens over ideological commitments to open borders.
- Challenging Cultural Incompatibilities: Migrants must respect the laws and values of their host country. Those who refuse should face consequences.
Antje Kapek and her Green Party colleagues lack the courage to admit their policies caused this crisis, let alone fix it. Instead, they propose segregation and call it a solution. German women deserve better than politicians who would rather impose Sharia-like measures than admit they were wrong.
The time for excuses is over. Deport the violent criminals. Secure the borders. Restore safety and dignity to Germany’s women. Anything less is a betrayal of the very principles leftists claim to defend.

It’s too bad that modern Europeans have not studied the history of Islam and how the societies it invades either change under Muslim pressure or are viciously brutalized. To “keep women safe”, Germany will have to separate women from men on public transportation and build separate municipal swimming pools, school classrooms, etc. Then to keep females safe on the streets, women will have to “dress modestly” and only go out accompanied by male relatives or it will be assumed that they are asking to get raped. After the Muslim invasion of India, cosmopolitan Hindu women went through all this and more, including being forced to veil their faces under Purdah Law. If you think it couldn’t happen today, then remember back to a recent time when the changes that have already happened were inconceivable.
