Bernier went on to discuss other policies of the Liberal government, including their stance on the war in Ukraine and the Paris Accord. He criticized the Liberal party for agreeing with the war in Ukraine and for signing the Paris Accord, which he believes will impose a carbon tax and add more regulations on businesses, ultimately hurting consumers. The PPC’s stance on climate change differs from the Liberals, with the PPC believing that the climate is constantly changing and that imposing a carbon tax and regulations will not solve the issue.
In addition to these policies, Bernier addressed the issue of immigration in Canada. He expressed concern over mass immigration and its impact on housing prices and the healthcare system in Canada. The PPC believes in stopping mass illegal immigration and promoting less immigration while also ensuring that policies are in place to support the healthcare system and address the housing crisis.
Bernier also touched on the issue of gender ideology, stating that there are only two sexes and that the PPC is committed to fighting the cultural war in Canada. He believes that the Conservative Party in Canada is not truly conservative and is only conservative in name.
Bernier also spoke about the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), criticizing the organization for censoring individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic and calling for its reform. He believes that the CBC must be independent and that if the PPC is doing its job, the CBC may go bankrupt, which he sees as a good thing.
