Muslim Students Form Sharia Patrols, Enforce Islamic Law in German Schools, Violators Face Stoning and Torture (Video)

In the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, a troubling trend has emerged within a high school in Neuss. A group of Muslim students operating as self-appointed Islamic Sharia Patrols has unleashed a wave of intimidation, extremism, and radicalism that has sent shockwaves through the educational community. This alarming situation not only highlights the anti-Western nature of their demands but also raises questions about the roots and direction of this disturbing trend in Germany.

Rooted in Radicalism – Intimidation and Harassment

The group of senior Muslim students, aged between 17 and 19, has openly advocated for Sharia measures within their school. Their demands include stoning as a form of punishment, promoting torture, enforcing mandatory hijab-wearing for women and girls, and insisting on gender segregation during swimming lessons, even for teachers.

These students have also pressed for additional requirements, such as women covering themselves, early dismissal for Muslim students on Fridays for prayer, and extending gender segregation to teachers during swimming lessons. Alongside these demands, they allegedly pressured and harassed fellow students deemed as “bad Muslims.”

Notably, within the classroom, these students have openly rejected democracy and fervently promoted the enforcement of Shariah Law. This push for radical changes extends beyond mere advocacy, with reports surfacing about their repeated intimidation and harassment of students who do not share their Islamic views. This behavior has fostered an atmosphere of fear and unease within the schoolacting both students and teachers.

A Rejection of Democracy

What makes this situation even more concerning but not surprising is their explicit rejection of democratic values. These students have made their stance clear, openly opposing the principles of democracy that form the foundation of German society. Their refusal to accept democracy as a legitimate governing system highlights the incompatibility of Islam within a host country or any non-Islamic country.

Involvement of Law Enforcement

The gravity of the situation prompted the school management to turn to law enforcement authorities. The police have initiated investigations into the actions of these students, including incidents that occurred in March and December of the preAt the same time,g year. While one incident remains under investigation for suspected threats and assaults.

Minister’s Concern

North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister of the Interior, Herbert Reul, has voiced his deep concern, recognizing that this case goes beyond “youthful mischief.” He has called upon parents, teachers, and guidance counselors to exercise heightened vigilance in the face of potential “radicalization” among young people. Minister Reul’s concern reflects the broader societal implications of such incidents, highlighting the need for a comprehensive response to the Islamic threat.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the state has admitted to not having any successful programs to counter what they see as Islamic “radicalism” but is truly just commands from Islam’s holy book and prophet. The school sought assistance and advice from the State’s jihadi preventive program “Signpost” (Wegweiser) to gather more information and guidance about extremist Muslims and a scientific expert for internal training. However, despite these efforts, the program has not been successful so far, as stated in the police report.

A Troubling Trend:

This incident is not an isolated case. Similar occurrences have occurred in other educational institutions, such as an academic gymnasium in Bonn. Klaus Koeter from the Teachers Association for Literacy and Education finds this trend deeply troubling and highlights the internet as a breeding ground for radical opinions. He remarked, “The time spent online for students is generally much too high, and when one starts to gather information and look at the statistics, especially right now with the conflict between Israel and Gaza, the enormous amount of propaganda being consumed is alarming.”

Roots in the Past

To fully understand the origins of the Sharia patrol trend, one must look back to earlier incidents in Germany. In 2014 and 2015, reports emerged of Muslim radicals enforcing Islamic Sharia law on the streets of Wuppertal, another city in North Rhine-Westphalia. Groups of young bearded Muslims dressed in orange vests bearing the words “Sharia Police” declared parts of downtown Wuppertal to be “Sharia Controlled Zones” and distributed leaflets outlining an Islamic code of conduct.

Influence of Radical Adults

What adds to the complexity of the situation is the belief that the children involved in the recent school incident have inherited their Islamic beliefs from their parents. Many of the adults who participated in the earlier Sharia patrols are likely to have instilled these values in their children. Instead of addressing the issue as a problem stemming from the influx of Islamic refugees during the mass migration crisis, some authorities have focused on blaming social media for influencing these children. However, it is clear that the radicalization comes from the influence of their migrant parents who support Sharia and have raised their children to do the same.

As reported in 2014 by the Gatestone Institute, the Muslims involved in the Sharia patrols are followers Salafism. This anti-Western Islamic ideologydeology that openly seeks to replace democracy in Germany with an Islamic government based on Sharia law. Salafism posits that Sharia law is superior to all secular laws, making democracy and participation in the democratic process unacceptable. The number of Salafists in Germany has surged in recent years, raising concerns about the relentless encroachment of Islamic supremacy.

In an interview with the German public television broadcaster ZDF, the director of domestic intelligence for North Rhine-Westphalia, Burkhard Freier, said that German Salafists are increasingly inclined to use violence to achieve their aims and that many have traveled to Iraq or Syria to obtain combat training.

In June 2014, approximately 400 Salafists met for a barbecue “grill fest” in the Tannenbusch district of Bonn to listen to sermons by some of the most radical Salafist preachers in Germany. Police say the purpose of the gathering was to raise funds and recruit volunteers for the jihad in Syria. But after the event, groups of young Salafists began enforcing Sharia law in Bonn by forcing women to wear veils. In one instance, they beat a teenager for drinking alcohol at a party.

Compounding the problem is the state’s reluctance to take decisive action against such groups, allowing the Sharia patrols to operate with impunity. In the past, a German court ruled that a group of Islamists, operating as the “Sharia Police” in the city of Wuppertal in 2014, did not break the law in forming these street patrols and harassing people to stop drinking, gambling, listening to music, and engaging in other activities. The court’s decision sparked public outrage, but prosecutors struggled to build a case against them. The city’s district court ruled that the accused members of the group did not breach a ban on political uniforms when they approached people while wearing orange vests bearing the words “Sharia Police.”

The decision was appealed to a higher court in 2019 where the Muslim enforcers were fined for wearing illegal uniforms. This verdict reflects the state’s failure to take a strong stance against the Muslim Sharia patrols, which has emboldened students to form their own within educational institutions.

The emergence of Islamic Sharia Patrols within a German school is a disturbing manifestation of Islamic supremacy that has been amplified by left-wing politicians’ open-border policies in Germany. This highly dangerous situation demands attention, not just within the educational system and law enforcement but across society as a whole.
