On April 30th, a supermarket in Palma de Mallorca was disrupted by an aggressive illegal, prompting police intervention. The assailant, described by the Spanish press as a “Maghreb citizen,” attempted to leave without paying for items, sparking confrontations with store staff and nearby workers in the Santa Catalina neighborhood.
Eyewitnesses reported the migrant’s entry into the supermarket around 10:00 a.m., loudly declaring he was hungry before consuming it and attempting to leave without payment. Despite warnings from the manager, the situation escalated when the migrant re-entered the store with increased hostility, leading to physical altercations and the hurling of objects, including a traffic sign, at workers.
The National Police took prompt action, resulting in the suspect’s arrest for damages. However, rather than deporting the criminal, Spain’s socialist government will release him back into the public, only to act shocked when he harms someone again.
