A 30-year-old woman reported being raped by a VTC driver, believed to be an African migrant, in Paris during the Olympics festivities. On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, July 31, around midnight, police officers went to the 6th arrondissement of Paris to collect her testimony, according to a police source cited by Valeurs Actuelles and Le Parisien.
The victim, originally from Mexico, explained to the police that she had spent the evening at the Mexican Olympic Games pavilion in the 19th arrondissement. As she was leaving, she was approached by an individual described as “African type,” around 30 years old, driving a black Tesla. The man introduced himself as a driver and offered to take her home. The victim accepted, and after getting in, she fell asleep in the back of the vehicle during the journey.
Two streets from her home, she woke up and noticed that her shorts were unbuttoned and that the driver was sitting next to her, digitally raping her. According to her statements, she asked the driver to take her home, which he did around 11:35 p.m. Upon arriving at her residence on Rue du Four in Saint-Germain-des-PrĂ©s (6th arrondissement), the young woman’s boyfriend went out and paid the driver in cash. The driver then left the scene.
Once she got home, the victim told her partner what had happened, and he contacted the police. The police arrived shortly before midnight to take her statement.
A Woman Raped by a VTC Driver Last April
According to the police source, the suspect has not yet been identified. The duty magistrate has been notified, and the 3rd judicial police district (DPJ) has taken charge of the investigation. The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed that they were contacted following the victim’s complaint.
This case echoes similar events from last April. A VTC driver was indicted and placed under judicial supervision for the rape of a client in Paris. The driver claimed that the complainant had consented. However, other clients had already reported the individual’s behavior.

Any rape by any male should be a mandatory immediate castration upon conviction. Enough of male animal aggressive behavior. If this was strictly enforced rapes would practically cease to exist. There is no excuse to allow rapists to repeat offend.
