Sharia Michigan: Islamic Supremacists Seize Control of the Streets in Dearborn for Ashura (Video)

Ashura! It is that time of year again when Shia Muslims commemorate the death of the Prophet’s grandson. Bloodied Shi’ite Muslims, including young boys, participate in self-flagellation, slashing themselves with chained blades during this observance. This religious procession occurs not only in Muslim countries worldwide but also in non-Muslim countries throughout Europe and the United States.

On Sunday, July 14th, the 10th Annual Ashura Procession in Dearborn, Michigan, saw thousands of Shia Muslims taking to the streets, asserting their stance against perceived injustices to Islam, and advocating for the allegedly oppressed Muslim communities worldwide. The Islamic march spanned from Fordson Public High School to Ford Woods Park.

This scene in Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s District is a blatant display of Islamic supremacism. Notably absent were American flags; instead, Shi’ite religious flags adorned the landscape. Furthermore, the Sharia-adherent Muslims, led by a highly controversial figure, seized control of roads, overpasses, and parks, flexing their power, which went unreported by the U.S. media.

They marched militantly, wielding signs demanding American respect for their Qur’an, which experts say is a manual for warfare against non-Muslims. Among their demands were the enforcement of Islamic law on non-Muslims, the suppression of free speech to comply with Islamic blasphemy laws, and the boycott and eradication of Israel.

“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is code for eradicating the State of Israel and its millions of Jews. The river means the Jordan River, which runs east of Israel’s territory, and the sea means the Mediterranean Sea, which borders Israel to the west. The slogan negates Israel’s right to exist as a protective Jewish state.

Amidst the crowd, burqa-clad women and children carried Islamic flags and Qur’ans. In Western nations, women who adopt Sharia practices pose a threat, as their commitment lies in propagating Islamic law.

The presence of Shi’ite religious flags, including one large one hanging from a helicopter, was particularly alarming in Dearborn.

The city is known as the Arab capital of North America. Here, Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi, and Yemeni communities are concentrated, making it the city with the highest American Muslim population per capita, primarily of the Shiite denomination, and home to the nation’s largest mosque. Arabic signs adorn restaurants and businesses, and even Dearborn’s public schools serve only Halal meat—a strategic means for Muslim minorities to introduce Sharia into the broader non-Muslim majority.

The event, spearheaded by controversial Iranian government mouthpiece Imam Husham Al-Husainy, an Iraqi refugee who has been a leader in the Dearborn community for over 25 years, has raised significant concerns. Al-Husainy is a highly controversial figure with a history of inflammatory rhetoric and dangerous affiliations. Notably, he has made statements highly critical of America and has refused to denounce groups like Hezbollah, which is a designated Islamic terrorist organization.

The antisemitic Imam has gone as far as advocating for the destruction of both Israel and the United States. Al-Husainy has even proposed laws that would criminalize the desecration of holy books, a stance that reflects his support for Sharia blasphemy laws, mirroring practices in countries like Iraq. Furthermore, he has called for restrictions on free speech in the United States in accordance with Sharia law.

In a troubling revelation, a video posted to Facebook and uncovered by the Clarion Project shows Imam Al-Husainy condemning the Saudi royal family as “agents of the Jews” and calling for their execution. He attributes Saudi transgressions to an alleged Zionist conspiracy and even claims that Saudi airplanes bombing Yemen are “Israeli airplanes with Israeli policy and Israeli targets.” Furthermore, Al-Husainy has urged Muslims to “stand together” with Christians against what he terms “oppressive Saudi-Zionist airplanes.”

How can the media and leaders ignore the presence of such a controversial Islamic supremacist Imam, leading thousands of Muslims through the streets of Michigan without scrutiny?

It raises important questions about why these so-called peaceful Muslims are not rejecting Imam Husham Al-Husainy and his anti-America and dangerous rhetoric but instead amplifying it.

Moreover, why is the media seemingly turning a blind eye to Islamic supremacists who advocate for Sharia, a system that runs contrary to our Constitution and way of life? The media’s focus on maligning those who denounce Islamic supremacists while neglecting to address this very real and dangerous issue should make us all question their motives.
