Stockholm, Sweden – The annual ‘Festival Eritrea Scandinavia,’ a regime-financed Eritrean cultural festival held on Järvafältet nature preserve in northwest Stockholm, turned into scenes of chaos and violence as clashes erupted between Eritrean migrants loyal to their country’s regime and Eritrean migrant counter-protesters at the event. Shocking video footage reveals the entire course of events.”
According to the Expressen newspaper, the Festival Eritrea Scandinavia, held at the Järvafältet park in northern Stockholm, has long been criticized for its connections to the African country’s repressive regime.
Around 2 p.m., the festival grounds were overrun by approximately a thousand Eritrean counter-protesters, accusing their fellow expats of holding a regime-loyal propaganda festival and raising funds for the Eritrean regime. The counter-protesters appeared armed with rocks, branches, and wooden sticks and attacked the police.
As tensions escalated, festival tents and cars were set ablaze, and the police officers present were targeted with a barrage of stones. In the aftermath, 52 individuals were reported to be injured, with four in critical condition. The Stockholm region issued a press release stating that the Regional special health care management was on high alert to handle the influx of casualties.
The police acted swiftly, and between 100 and 200 people were arrested in connection with the violent riot, arson, and serious blue light sabotage. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to bring those responsible to justice.
In the wake of the unsettling events, Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer expressed his dismay at the immigrants’ bringing their conflicts to Swedish soil. In a comment to state television, Strömmer emphasized, “It is not reasonable for Sweden to be drawn into other countries’ domestic conflicts in this way. If you flee to Sweden to escape violence or are on a temporary visit, you must not cause violence here. The police’s resources are needed for other purposes than keeping different groups apart from each other.”
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, once again raising concerns about the potential for imported conflicts to disrupt peace and harmony within the host country. Authorities and community leaders are naively calling for unity and dialogue to address such disputes without resorting to violence. As Färbåd Jalali stated on Twitter,
What are regime loyal Eritreans doing in Sweden? If one is loyal to their home country’s regime, there is no reason to “flee” to Sweden. These people have been allowed to stay on erroneous grounds. Moreover, behaving in this way and being violent towards our police should result in immediate lifelong deportation.
It is disheartening to see what has happened to Sweden. Many politicians turned a blind eye to the problems of mass immigration. These are the consequences. And believe me, it will get worse if nothing is done about the problem!
The Festival is funded by the Eritrean government
The long-standing “Festival Eritrea Scandinavia,” organized since the 1990s, has recently come under the spotlight due to allegations surrounding its funding. According to the local news site Nyhetsbyrån Järva, organizers have faced criticism for purportedly accepting substantial financial support, amounting to millions of kronor, from the Eritrean government to host the event.
The festival has previously encountered demonstrations from a group known as the “Dawit Isaak Campaign.” This collective, named after the Swedish-Eritrean writer Dawit Isaak, who has been detained without trial in Eritrea since 2001, has consistently expressed opposition to the festival and its association with the Eritrean government.
As controversy surrounds the festival, questions arise about its implications and connections with a foreign government. The organizers’ acceptance of government funds raises concerns about the event’s independence and whether it aligns with Sweden’s democratic principles and values.
This happens EVERYWHERE were Eritreans are holding this so called “Festival”.
It’s a feast of violence.
I think the one they had somewhere in Germany a few weeks back with literally the exact same outcome, including many police injured.
You invite vermin into your home without pest-control, you better be prepared them taking over and destroying it.
OUT WITH THESE BRAINLESS PEOPLE FROM EU IMMEDIATELY!
No more eritrean festivals. Ban them. Too many uncivilized morons will ruin it. Cut all funding and financial support for third world invaders/rape tourists! Hopefully many will self-deport.
We need every first world country to do the same. Also, deport all the political buffoons (to eritrea) that bring in this garbage! Sick of stupid a$$holers that make good citizens miserable with their idiotic policies!
“By early to mid-April 2020, critical care doctors had already figured out that the antiparasitic drug ivermectin was working against the novel coronavirus, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration chose to warn people away from the drug instead”
ALL FDA AND CDC CEOs, AND ALL THEIR STAFF MUST IMMEDIATELY BE ARRESTED AND HANGED FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY!
There’s no such thing as “novel coronavirus”, it’s a scam.
Ivermectin probably works against ordinary flu, which, if you recall, “disappeared” after the plandemic was announced. In other words, ordinary flu was relabelled “Covid”. The scum banned anything known to be safe and effective on ordinary flu and ordinary respiratory illnesses because they were all mislabelled “Covid” and so they didn’t want it to seem that Ivermectin etc. worked against their fake “Covid”.
Trump once said “Eritrea was a “Sh1th0le country” maybe that’s why so many Eritreans left their country, unfortunately they’re not housebroken….
