Viktor Orbán's Dire Warning: Soros, Western Elites, and Military Industries Profit as They Push the World Towards a Major Nuclear Conflict (Video)

In Viktor Orbán’s live-streamed address, he warns that Western military aid to Ukraine risks escalating into a broader conflict with NATO, driven by economic interests and ideological motivations, and emphasizes the need for military strength to maintain peace while advocating for Hungary’s non-participation in the war.

On May 23, 2024, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered a comprehensive and critical address via a live stream on his YouTube channel. The speech delved into the complexities of the Ukraine conflict, NATO’s evolving role, and the broader geopolitical landscape. Orbán’s speech was marked by a blend of strategic insights, historical reflections, and a staunch defense of Hungary’s unique position within NATO.

Military Strength and the Danger of Weakness

Orbán began by emphasizing the necessity of maintaining strong military forces to deter conflict, stating, “The existence of military forces is necessary. It does not lead to war. Strangely, it is the lack of military forces that leads to war because war is most often caused by weakness — not by force, but by weakness.” He argued that perceived weakness invites aggression, as stronger nations might covet the territory and resources of weaker ones. “There is only one cure for that: the victim country being singled out must be strong enough to defend herself,” Orbán asserted, reinforcing the adage, “If you want peace, then prepare for war.”

Critique of Western and NATO Strategies

Addressing the Ukraine conflict, Orbán noted Russia’s inability to decisively defeat Ukraine despite the prolonged and intense warfare. “The Russian army is waging a serious, difficult war with the Ukrainians today, and it cannot defeat them. So this is a prolonged war,” he observed. Orbán challenged the notion that Russia poses a significant threat to the entire Western world, given its struggles against Ukraine. “One may provoke others — so there is the history of international diplomacy, relations, which shows how nations cause difficulties to each other, but that someone dares to attack — and I am not just talking about the Russians, but anyone else — that anyone daring to attack a NATO member state today is extremely improbable.”

He further critiqued the rhetoric surrounding the “Russian danger” as a preparatory maneuver for involving Europe in the war. “I think that what is happening today in Brussels and Washington, perhaps now more in Brussels than in Washington, is a kind of ‘mood preparation’ for a possible direct military conflict,” Orbán remarked, drawing parallels to the prelude to the First and Second World Wars.

Hungary’s Position in NATO

Orbán reiterated Hungary’s commitment to NATO’s foundational principles while expressing concern over the alliance’s evolving mission. “We are the country that is clinging to the foundational document of NATO and to the public agreement that determines NATO’s mission. That NATO is a defensive alliance,” he stated. He emphasized Hungary’s non-participation in military operations outside NATO territory, a stance he described as “non-participation.” “We are there in these committees, but we have announced that, though we are NATO members and we have to be there, we do not approve of this, and we don’t want to participate in any financial or military support, not even within NATO,” Orbán explained.

Economic Interests and War

Orbán discussed the economic interests behind prolonged conflicts, highlighting the profit motives of various actors. “Wars not only have losers, cause suffering, and generate profit. There is extra profit in wars,” he asserted. Orbán implicated military industries and speculators in benefiting from the war, suggesting that these interests drive the continuation of conflicts. He specifically mentioned globalist György Soros, stating, “Our country’s son György Soros also excels, standing at the very front of the line, where his figure can be seen… So it is obvious that these forces are all economically interested in the war.”

European Leadership and Christian Values

Orbán also expressed bewilderment at the stance of European leaders, particularly those from large nations, whom he respects but does not believe are bought. “What I don’t understand so far is that European leaders — whom I otherwise respect and appreciate — about whom I do not presume — I’m talking about large European countries now — I don’t suppose, due to the size of the country, that those leaders can be bought lock, stock, and barrel as the West does with the Hungarian Left,” he said.

He lamented the impact of wars on Europe’s demographic decline and migration issues, framing it within a Christian perspective. “Every European war, in the last 100-150 years, regardless of who considered themselves winners or losers, in the sum total, everyone lost,” Orbán reflected. He linked these conflicts to the weakening of European Christian civilization, which once had a decisive influence on the world and could defend against migration. “It’s no wonder that the European Christian world, which used to have a decisive influence on the rest of the world and was able to defend itself, for example, against migration, is becoming incapable of this because we don’t have enough people,” he observed.

Populism and Political Integrity

Orbán defended the concept of populism, positioning it as a genuine effort to serve the people. “The last resort in politics is always the people. Which, nowadays, of course, must be classified as ‘populism’. If you do something that is good for people, that’s immediately branded as ‘populist’ on the European stage,” he stated. He criticized the prioritization of ideology over the welfare of citizens, arguing, “Sublime ideologies must not be more important than people themselves.”

In conclusion, Orbán emphasized the need for innovative approaches in Hungarian diplomacy to navigate its unique position within NATO while maintaining national integrity. “A new approach, a new description, a new definition… So we need ‘inventions’ here on the Hungarian side,” he said, highlighting the creative and strategic efforts required to uphold Hungary’s principles in the complex geopolitical landscape.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s address provides a critical examination of current Western military strategies, the economic interests behind prolonged conflicts, and the challenges of maintaining national integrity within the NATO alliance. His remarks highlight Hungary’s cautious and strategic approach, advocating for a more measured response to the ongoing Ukraine conflict.

  • NATO outlived its usefulness. The day USSR collapsed NATO should have been disbanded. Unfortunately The USA and its European globalist elites, are using NATO as their belligerent army to expand their global empire.

  • 1994 article by Chabad leader Mendel Schneerson:
“Slav, Russian, can be destroyed, but never conquered. That is why this seed is subject to liquidation, and, at first, a sharp reduction in their numbers.”
“The Ukrainians would think that they are fighting against the expansionist Russia and struggling for their independence. They will think that they have finally gained their freedom, while they become fully subdued by us. The same will be thought by Russians, as though they defend their national interests to return their lands, “illegally” taken away from them, and so on.”
