Evidently, Ilhan Omar is a fan of Minnesota Rep. Aisha Gomez, who was inadvertently captured on Livestream standing with a group of far-left activists who screamed and threw objects at President Trump supporters in the wake of the rally held in Minneapolis at the Target Center earlier this month.

Omar Tweeted her solidarity with Rep. Aisha Gomez, as well as “liked” her Facebook page. Gomez is part of far-left, deliberately-divisive “People of Color & Indigenous Caucus” in the State Legislature, which engages in agitation, and introduces ridiculous “legislation” such banning ICE detention centers in Minnesota. Gomez was also involved in efforts to create an “antisemitism task force.” The task force, however, was to include notorious anti-Semites as detailed here.
Evidently, Aisha cannot “breathe” because of “white supremacy”.
In an OpEd from May this year, Gomez justified a massive tax burden on employers, saying in part that for too long, the poor have suffered from “structural inequity” and an ill-described “flawed conservative ideology.” She writes in part:
“Our state budget is an opportunity for us to begin what Rev. Dr. William Barber calls a moral revolution – a call back to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1960s Poor People’s Campaign. The wisdom of that campaign is that poverty isn’t rooted in personal failure, but in structural inequity. The tremendous divide between those at the bottom and those at the top is a reflection of the fact that the wealthiest individuals and large corporations for too long have had their interests protected in policy-making.
Her hatred of the rich was reflected during the Antifa-led rally against the President, where leftist agitators changed “Eat the Rich” (see video below). Unsurprisingly, Gomez was endorsed by America’s largest Marxist organization, the Democratic Socialists of America-linked “Our Revolution.”
It is difficult to imagine that someone like Aisha Gomez was actually elected to represent citizens in Minnesota. And sadly, she is only one of many, many far left elected officials who have infiltrated the Democratic party in America.

The excellent Alpha News report called Gomez out for her participation in the rally, which turned violent, of course, with Antifa cowards attacking people for daring to support a duly elected, sitting president.

Omar evidently attended the antifa-friendly “protest” as well, so it is a bit odd that she would not admit to being there. When photos looking exactly like Omar and her boyfriend emerged on social media, she denied being at the antifa-led rally, claiming to have been in Morocco at the time.
Hopefully, they will both be voted out of office. Or better yet, recalled. Unfortunately for America, they are just two of likely hundreds of ideological socialists currently holding office. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Americans need to pay close attention to those relentlessly seeking – and oftentimes obtaining – positions of power.
