In the Dutch town of Nijmegen, asylum seekers riding public buses have been demanding that native Dutch passengers pay their fares for them — if their demands aren’t met, violence ensues.
Buses must now be equipped with extra security to protect the terrorized bus drivers and public from the criminal migrants’ physical harassment, verbal aggression and robbery.
Anton Masteling a spokesman of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) said, “It’s about a group of about 25 people. We know from eight of them that they come from the asylum seekers’ center in Grave. ”
It is unknown whether there is a connection between this gang of migrants attacking buses and the gang of young dangerous migrants who have been robbing Dutch citizens in Nijmegen. There have been 64 reports made in two months of pickpockets committing thefts in the city center.
Despite the violence and unrest, migrants in the cities of Eindhoven and Nijmegen are being trained as bus drivers for the public transport company Connexxion.
