Austrian Politician: 'We have Committed Collective Suicide...It’s Time to Declare the Pandemic Over' (Video)

As politicians across Austria and Western Europe declare a “second wave” of the Chinese Coronavirus, former member of Austrian parliament and party chairman, Gerald Grosz slams these politically-motivated pronouncements. The former leader admonishes the government’s deadly and irresponsible decision to force another round of “unconstitutional and chaotic” lockdown measures.

“As if the hyped-up first wave didn’t do enough damage” declares Mr. Grosz. The consequences of “second wave” lockdown will destroy any “remaining businesses” and financially devastate generations to come:

Out of fear of the imminent Corona death, we have committed collective suicide and are amazed at the deaths from this policy….This suicide cocktail is garnished with billions of euros of debt, that the next two generations will not be able to repay.

Mr. Grosz believes the lockdown measures imposed by world leaders have financially, physically. and emotionally harmed far more people than the coronavirus has:

It is easily possible that the measures taken by [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel, [Austrian Chancellor Sebastian] Kurz and fellow sycophants of the world killed more people than the Wuhan virus could ever have killed.

The former politician praised Sweden – a country that never imposed strict lockdown measures on their citizens and yet has experienced one of the lowest rates of coronavirus infections. Meanwhile, Austria and other countries continue to impose devastating lockdown measures over what he considers an average disease:

Except for Sweden, the country without fear and panic, the country with rising economic figures, while we are heading for the final calamity and give power to a run-of-the-mill disease over the civilizational pillars of our society, the economy, democracy, the physical and mental health of our people, to finally destroy them for a long time.

The shadow-boxing against the seemingly overpowering dragon of Wuhan, in truth a small mangy 
laboratory rat, is now going into its second round.

Politicians knowingly wage their hopeless pseudo-war, which they cannot or do not want to win, 
but accept the collateral damage produced by the terror measures all the more loosely. 

At their sides are the well-known, partly bought or coerced, at least compliant experts, the 
virological Cassandras, whose partial focus is only on eradicating a virus that cannot be eradicated, 
one of millions in the world. In the free economy, technical idiots who are incapable of survival 
and who have a holistic view of the structure of society, are simply not made for it. How can they be?

Because an academic education does not require any life experience.

With the daily number of infected people, ordinary people who fear for their lives should be 
made submissive again, prepared piece by piece for the domino of error, beginning with new, 
unconstitutional and chaotic measures, which in any case are only rudimentary, in which the 
so-called first-wave remaining businesses are finally destroyed.

Thousands of business bankruptcies, whose former owners and employees are led directly into the 
spiral of existential fear.


This suicide cocktail is garnished with billions of euros of debt, that the next two generations 
will not be able to repay. Once free citizens, young and old, unconstitutionally deprived of their 
basic rights, patronized and sidelined in their freedom of expression.

It’s about time to realize that we have to live with the coronavirus, as with millions of 
other diseases.
