Joe Biden addressed the nation on Thursday evening, doubling down on the dangerous lie that citizens are attacking Asian Americans. The hate crime industry is designed to sow division, manipulate public opinion and justify policies that enrich leftist cronies.
No, the coronavirus is not causing citizens to attack Asian-Americans on the street.
The “hate crimes” canard is a common tactic used by the radical left to plant seeds of distrust among citizens. A thinking person may ask why leftist leaders would perpetuate such a lie. The answer is simple: If citizens are looking at one another with suspicion, they are distracted from holding the government accountable and may even look to the government for “solutions” to the problem that doesn’t exist. While Americans are distracted with worrying about hate crimes, they are not asking valid questions about the arbitrary, unscientific coronavirus mandates.
“Too often, we’ve turned against one another,” Biden read from the teleprompter. People have been engaging in “vicious hate crimes against Asian Americans who’ve been attacked, harassed, blamed and scapegoated,” he continued, chiding the nation once again for a fabricated problem.
RAIR Foundation USA has been closely tracking the false narrative since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. The coordinated effort to blame citizens for attacking Asian-Americans was foreshadowed when the Marxist leader of the World Health Organization and the left-wing media cautioned of “stigma.”
“The greatest enemy we face is not the virus itself,” WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned during a speech at the Munich Security Conference on February 15, 2020. “It’s the stigma that turns us against each other. We must stop stigma and hate,” he declared. The establishment media followed Dr. Tedros’ lead. A widely-cited ABC News article on March 27, 2020 even claimed that the wholly compromised FBI believed that hate crimes would “likely” rise against Asian Americans.
While there has been a smattering of attacks against Asian Americans, particularly in the Bay area of San Francisco, this has been an ongoing problem, one that started way before the coronavirus.
Without evidence of actual hate crimes against Asian Americans, several organizations are keeping track of alleged “hate incidents”, which could be anything any anonymous person writes on an online form. The most cited hate incident collector is “Stop AAPI Hate”, which gathers anecdotes of supposed hate incidents and compiles them in order to keep the lie from dying a proper death. For the left, allegations equal facts, and allegations alone are needed to set policy and get federal funding.
“Stop AAPI Hate”, unsurprisingly, was founded by three individuals who work closely with a radical left group – Liberation Road – that supports the Chinese Communist Party.
The hate crimes strategy is deployed so often that it is shocking that so many still fall for it. It would be very simple to stop the lies, by simply demanding the source data.
