Author Scott Ventureyra: 'It's Delusional to Think That Covid is an Existential Threat' (Interview)

Author Scott Ventureyra, Ph.D., sat down with RAIR Foundation USA on May 5^th for an exclusive interview about his recently-published book, Covid-19: A Dystopian Delusion. The well-published Catholic and theologian philosopher never imagined he would write a book about Covid. In the interview, he talks about what caused him to wake up, why (in spite of himself) he wrote the book, the ongoing takeover by globalist elites, the dangers of unthinking compliance, and how we can resist.

Ventureyra’s book explores the machinations of governments, health organizations, the globalist elites, big pharma, big tech and the legacy media as they relate to a wide range of Covid topics, including the New World Order, corruption, psychological tactics, censorship, propagated lies, incompetence and much, much more.

In the interview, Ventureyra says about the book, “I think one of the elements that’s unique [about the book] is that it’s such a tightly-knit package that contains so much information – it basically goes through everything.”

Ventureyra openly admits that he never wanted to write a book about Covid. “Personally, I never wanted to get involved in this battle,” says Ventureyra, adding, “I am more interested in thinking about philosophy, philosophy of mind, science and religions, science and theology, as opposed to getting into something that is very, very dirty.”

Nevertheless, he felt obligated to help wake people up and to bear historical witness to what is happening by exposing the lies, manipulation, agendas, and crimes that the powerful have committed in the name of public health. Ventureyra acknowledges that Covid is potentially harmful but says the draconian public health measures were ultimately unjustified. He first began to sense that something was amiss early in the pandemic when public health officials such as Anthony Fauci, Theresa Lam, and Kieran Moore kept changing the story regarding Covid’s modes of transmission. The officials initially said that the virus could be transmitted on surfaces, then via respiratory droplets, before finally admitting to airborne transmission. “I knew there was something wrong with the whole narrative,” he says, adding that this motivated him to start his blog.

While researching for his first Covid-related article, Ventureyra discovered many fraudulent studies relating to Hydroxychloroquine. Many of the studies used incorrect dosages, treatment durations, began treatment too late in the illness or failed to administer necessary treatment components such as Zinc. He also bore witness to the online persecution of world-renowned scientists and doctors, including Drs. Vladimir Zelenko and Didier Raoult (who is one of the top microbiologists in the world). Early in the pandemic, Dr. Zelenko treated about 1,950 Covid patients in New York City with a 99.5% recovery rate. This should have been a signal to public health authorities that his treatment protocol was effective. “They were coming after them [Zelenko and Raoult] for being a so-called ‘conspiracy theorist,’ and as soon as I saw things like this, it just solidified my view, more and more, that there was something definitely wrong with this narrative,” says Ventureyra. “The media was bent on destroying this treatment because it’s not related to the vaccine rollout.”

Censorship was another huge red flag. “’Follow the Science…’ ‘Trust the Science…’ was nothing more than propaganda. It has nothing to do with science,” says Ventureyra. “Science is about debate. It’s about dissent. You want dissenting voices because the science gets better.” 

There is a deep connection between implementing these illegal and unlawful Covid measures – especially the lockdowns – and totalitarian communist regimes, which tend to emerge through compliance. “People get on their knees, and they comply,” says Ventureyra. “It’s interesting, this whole issue of compliance, because early on, […] the WHO was gaslighting people and, you know, all these health organizations were basically bringing us to our knees – to what I called ‘unthinking compliance.’”

“Unthinking compliance” compliments the concept of mass formation psychosis brought forth by a Belgian professor of psychology, Dr. Mattias Desmet. From his studies of totalitarian regimes, Desmet determined that the regimes gain citizens’ compliance through a series of coordinated psychological attacks. Free-floating anxiety is created; people are isolated from one another; something specific is declared the cause of the anxiety (Covid, for example); people comply with anything they are told to do in the ‘noble’ and desperate quest to defeat the source of anxiety and return to “normal.” In the case of Covid, the injections were touted as the one and only savior capable of defeating the virus and returning society to some semblance of normalcy. In this way, Ventureyra observes, Covid has become like a religion, with the “vaccines” being analogous to the salvation of Christ in Christianity or the Eucharist in the Catholic Church. But people forget that the same governments and public health authorities that deliver sermons of The Science™ and offer the salvation of Vaccines are likely directly responsible for the development and the escape of SARS-CoV-19, the object of our collective anxiety, into the world. Underlying everything, argues Ventureyra, this is a spiritual attack – a satanic attack – whose purpose is to divide, sow doubt, and cause individuals to gaslight themselves: “How could the majority be wrong?” Ventureyra ponders during such moments of self-gaslighting.

And yet, history shows us where this kind of unthinking compliance can lead. The Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin aimed to destroy any means of production held by individuals – for instance, food production by farmers. Farmers (“kulaks”) were named enemies of the state. The regime propagandized the population into resenting farmers by presenting them as bourgeoisie. The propaganda campaign was so successful that the population did not object when the regime then went in and destroyed generational farming businesses. Their supply chains were forcibly disrupted, farmers and their families were starved, then imprisoned, exiled, or executed until there was nothing left of the private farming sector. About ten years later, the state-enforced collectivization: everything – land, livestock, equipment, and earnings, too – became collective property. Individuals were no longer entitled even to their earnings but were forced to give it all to the collective. Communists seek to rule over everyone in a system where individual concerns are ceded to the “common good.” “But there is no common good under communistic regimes,” Ventureyra observes darkly.

Ventureyra argues that we are going down the same path in response to Covid-19. “It’s not too dissimilar to what happened early on with the Covid-19 measures,” he says. “Maybe it wasn’t as in-your-face and extreme, but they shut down countless businesses. So, it was more of the rise of the corporation, [and] basically the shutdown of small businesses.”

Since the emergence of Covid, restrictions have disproportionally impacted small businesses and the poorest members of society. Predictably, the losses of small businesses become the gains of large corporations, so corporate power is further consolidated. If small businesses are wiped out, then corporations and governments will be all that remains, leaving individuals ever fewer employment options and making it easier for powerful entities to monitor and control the increasingly powerless population. “Since there’s no competition with the small businesses if you wipe them out, people don’t have many choices, so they have to be employed by some big corporation or government, and it’s easier to surveil people,” says Ventureyra. “This is what happened early on [in the pandemic], and it ties directly with this one-world governance and the Great Reset.”

Ventureyra also wonders how it could be that Canadian professor of psychology Jordan Peterson, who has studied totalitarian regimes, could not see what was going on sooner, and wondered whether Peterson could be a form of controlled opposition. Although he appreciates a lot of Peterson’s work, “I do question whether it is genuine,” says Ventureyra, “this, you know, lack of knowledge of what was transpiring right before his eyes, given that he has studied this through and through.” He notes that Peterson seemed to awaken in step with the Canadian Conservative party around the time of the Ottawa Trucker Convoy. “Conveniently, around the trucker convoy, he starts to, you know, wake up, and [it’s the] same with the Conservative Party,” Ventureyra says, noting that the Conservative Party in Canada under Erin O’Toole chose to do nothing in opposition to lockdowns and other harsh Covid measures for two full years. “They saw this as a political opportunity, nothing more.”

Looking to the future, Ventureyra sees more vaccine rollouts and the implementation of digital IDs, a social credit score system, and centralized digital currency. “We’re at a certain precipice right now, and it is crucial that people start to wake up,” he says, in no uncertain terms.

Ventureyra suggests that it may be possible to fight back and resist centralized currency by proactively opting to purchase precious metals and decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. He used to like XRP (Ethereum) before realizing it has ties to the World Economic Forum (WEF). 

Awakening others is another important method of resisting, according to Ventureyra, who would like to see the people take back control of their governments from what he sees as a “coup d’état” by globalist elite forces. Furthermore, he believes that politicians, economists, journalists, medical doctors, academics, and others who have participated in this hostile takeover must be held accountable for their actions. “The accountability – it will have to come sooner or later. Eventually, it will have to come. And everybody – all the media personalities – are guilty of crimes against humanity.”

What people across the world must try to do, according to Ventureyra, is unify around the truth. “We shouldn’t back down because we’re afraid of what others may think of us. We shouldn’t back down because certain Christians may disagree with us. We have to be able to discuss this, and people are shutting the discussion [down], and that’s what’s fueling this chaos.”

“The machinations of the health organizations and the governments and the globalist elites – that is not a fabrication. That’s not a delusion,” says Ventureyra. Instead, the delusion is “that this virus is an existential threat to the world. That’s the delusion.”
