Islamic Preacher Begins Australia Tour Encouraing 'Martyrdom' to Youth, Railing Against Western Democracies, and Targeting 'Kaffirs' (Video)

A Muslim preacher’s provocative speaking tour across Australia has ignited a firestorm of debate, with his inflammatory Islamic rhetoric drawing both condemnation and support from fellow jihadis. Sheikh Abu Bakr Zoud’s 14-date lecture series, titled ‘Nurturing Hearts and Minds,’ commenced in Melbourne and Sydney amidst controversy over his controversial statements and associations.

During his 80-minute “sermon” last Saturday at the controversial Hume Islamic Youth Centre, Sheikh Zoud began his lecture series by glorifying martyrdom and advocating for the early indoctrination of Islamic teachings in children. He emphasized the insignificance of worldly pursuits compared to the afterlife, presenting martyrdom as the ultimate reward for Islamic believers and citing a story from Islamic lore about Prophet Muhammad’s conversion of a Jewish boy on his deathbed to support his argument.

In addition to promoting martyrdom, Sheikh Zoud criticized the Australian government for legislating on matters he deemed reserved solely for Allah. He declared to the crowded mosque of teenagers that Islamic martyrs experience death’s pain, as trivially as a mosquito bite, reinforcing his stance on martyrdom and highlighting his disdain for governmental interference in religious affairs.

Critique of Western Societies: The preacher took aim at Western democracies, accusing them of promoting godlessness and usurping the authority of Allah by legislating on matters reserved for divine law. He also lambasted Western media, alleging manipulation and deception to propagate moral decay.

Call for Religious Proselytization: Perhaps the most contentious aspect of Sheikh Zoud’s message was his call for Muslim doctors to exploit their interactions with “kaffir” patients (non-Muslim) patients for religious conversion. He advocated for preaching Islam during vulnerable moments, such as illness or death.

Association with Radicalism: Further complicating matters is the association of Sheikh Zoud’s speaking venue, the Hume Islamic Youth Centre, with individuals involved in jihadist activities. This raises questions about the preacher’s associations and the potential impact of his message on impressionable audiences, particularly youth.

Sheikh Abu Bakr Zoud’s speaking tour has thrust issues of Islam’s threat to non-Muslims and non-Islamic countries into the spotlight again. “Since the terror attacks of October 7, we’ve seen many hate preachers inciting violence and praising the killing of Jews, yet police have not stopped any from inciting hatred to their fellow Australians,” Ms Markson said.

“Instead, the police force has only gaslighted the Jewish community by holding a press conference to claim that one specific antisemitic chant was never said at the Opera House in an investigation that I’ve already shown was flawed and incomplete.”

Leaders and authorities consistently find excuses to justify the propagation of hatred and the issuance of deadly threats by Muslims. Regrettably, Australia, akin to numerous Western nations, hesitates to confront the evident intentions of Islamic supremacists to conquer non-Muslims, thereby failing to address the looming threats they pose.
