Anti-American Hate: Obama Slams the Constitution as Racist, Sexist and Anti-Poor (Video)

Former President Barack Obama blasted the founding fathers’ vision of a Constitutional Republic as racist, sexist and anti-poor during a discussion to manipulate voting maps earlier this month, ripping off his thinly-veiled mask of patriotism.

In the video produced by Obama for America, which has been re-named All On The Line (AOTL), Obama lambasted Senator Mike Lee for stating correctly that America is not a democracy. AOTL has been reinvented to “mobilize activists across the country to end gerrymandering,” or the redrawing of maps to favor a political party.

Barack Obama and his “wingman” Eric Holder’s organization AOTL is “supported” by the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which, according to their tax form 8871, (see form embedded) was designed to “favorably position Democrats for the redistricting process through 2022”.

Obama outrageously claimed that Senator Mike Lee’s motivation for his support of America as a “Constitutional Republic” and not a “Democracy” is racism, misogyny and hatred of poor people:

“He [Mike Lee] rationalized it,” Obama said, “‘Technically we are a ‘Republic, this and that and the other’ but what he was indicating was a spirit we’ve been seeing in -um- one of our political parties. And it’s not new. It’s one that has been with us since our founding that essentially says ‘Democracy is for some people and not for everyone – that actively restricts voting…very explicitly to white males with property. If you’re a woman, if you’re a person of color, if you’re not wealthy, then democracy didn’t necessarily apply to you’.”

Obama’s rhetoric has gotten increasingly hysterical since he left office in 2017. As reported at RAIR Foundation in August, the former president referred to the filibuster, also known as the “nuclear option,” as a “Jim Crow relic.” As leftists often do, Obama evidently changed his position from one he held in 2005 which strongly advocated for the filibuster as a tool for the minority to have a voice through their elected representatives.

The vision for America embodied in the Constitution is “Limited Government” and “Self Rule.” Based on a thousand years of history, America’s founding fathers obsessed on how to prevent a central government from gaining too much power and becoming tyranical. But the former president has twisted this vision to suit his hard left agenda, diminishing the founding fathers as racist, sexist and against poor people.

The former president’s words should be shocking to anyone who remotely understands why America’s founding fathers deliberately set up a system of representative government.

As observed at the Heritage Foundation:

The Founders were determined to forestall the inherent dangers of what James Madison called ‘the tyranny of the majority.’ So they constructed something more lasting: a republic. Something with checks and balances. A system of government carefully balanced to safeguard the rights of both the majority and the minority.

Obama is well aware of the concept of “Tyranny of the Majority,” but opts instead to perpetuate a lie to motivate his hard left, low-information followers.

Obama is distorting Senator Mike Lee’s words and the founding father’s vision of a Constitutional Republic as racist and sexist. In truth, the founding fathers devised the most inclusive system that has ever existed. And, as reported at RAIR Foundation USA, the majority of the founding fathers abhored slavery and spoke out against it.

President Obama knows better, of course, as the radical left seeks to dismantle America’s founding tradition of enumerated powers and impose, instead, a pure democracy. The framers deliberately set up the Constitution to make it difficult for government to grow massive and tyranical, hence the phrases “Limited Government” and “Self Rule.” But the former president and his allies distort this vision and seek to conflate it with racism.

Obama continues:

“There were alot of ‘Checks and Balances’ and what are ‘Anti-Majoritarian’ elements to our Constitution – you know – it’s the reason why a small state like Wyoming gets two senators just like California, even though it’s got one-60th of the population. So historically, there’s always been this contest between ‘Do we have a democracy that includes everybody’ – all of the American family – whether they are women, people of color, uh, you know, folks who live in cities or live in rural communities and over time through struggle and marches and protests and litigation, we’ve broadened our political family so that everybody had a seat at the table.”

Voting rights for women and “people of color” have literally nothing to do with the founding fathers’ vision of Checks and Balances, but Obama is a master of deception. Obama’s use of the word “Anti-Majoritarian” (which simply means opposition to majority rule) is revealing. Like many leftists, he is enraged over Article V of the Constitution, which asserts that “no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.”

Obama, it seems, wants New York and California to dictate policy to the rest of the country.

Senator Lee discusses the difference between a “democracy” and a “Constitutional Republic” as reported at the Washington Examiner. Lee explained in part that while he recognizes that many refer to America’s system of governance as a democracy, “…in many ways, the whole idea of having a constitution itself, particularly a constitution that establishes a constitutional republic like ours, is materially different and distinct from a democracy.”

Senator Lee explained:

“If what you wanted to establish was a more despotic form of government, if what you wanted was a fascist form of government, you could get there far more efficiently, far more completely, using a pure form of democracy than you could by going through a constitutional republic.”

Author and Speaker Trevor Loudon tweeted that “communists often praise ‘Democracy’.”

But Obama’s distortion of America as racist and sexist is in line with the propaganda pushed by his group, which has even tweeted about the lie of America’s “systemic racism.” The Tweet from August 26th expressed sympathy for Jacob Blake, who was out on bond for allegedly breaking into a woman’s home and “sexually assault[ing] her”.

According to court documents, Jacob Blake’s alleged victim was “very humiliated and upset.”

Much of their work has been done under the noses of the Republicans, and without much scrutiny. Where are the Republicans?

The former president also praised Eric Holder’s “great job” as Attorney General and further praised Holder’s “current effort” to manipulate voting maps to favor democrats. The subversive group is specifically targeting Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.
