Warning Parents - Dangerous Socialist Organizations Are Targeting Your Children!

NOTE: This video features comments made by Maria Svart, head of America’s largest Marxist organization Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) during a global Marxist gathering held in April 2019 at the EU Parliament in Brussels.

It was widely reported this week that a delegation from the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) went to Venezuela in support of the socialist regime. The Chicago Tribune reported that “[T]he four travelers, who crowdfunded the July trip under the banner of the CTU, met with Venezuelan government officials and educators, visited a commune and were featured in local media.” While it is refreshing that the story, written by Hannah Leone, exposes the nature of the delegation, such exposés are pitifully rare from the establishment media.

These activities come as no surprise to RAIR Foundation USA or Epoch Time’s Trevor Loudon, who wrote about the same exact trip in great detail two weeks before the Chicago Tribune set pen to paper. 

Also, as reported at Breitbart last month:

In March, the Chicago Teachers Union passed a resolution to oppose any U.S. intervention in Venezuela. A publication called Marxist-Leninism Today provided the details of that resolution shortly after it passed.

It is additionally no surprise that socialist-dominated Chicago (or frankly, any democrat-controlled city and/or union) would engage in such treasonous activities. The establishment media just largely ignores this ongoing subversion.

RAIR Foundation USA released a video just this past week featuring Maria Svart, the head of America’s largest Marxist organization Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), bragging that her organization has “over 75 members elected to local, state and national office.”

After citing DSA members Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Rashida Tlaib specifically, Svart continues:

“…we also have local elected officials in places like Montana, Pennsylvania, Texas and in fact two days ago or this week in Chicago, which is the third largest city in the United States, we now have five members of the City Council…Now they are a socialist voting bloc on the City Council of Chicago. So it’s very exciting – it completely has changed American politics…” [emphasis added]

Further, Maria gushes that DSA is pushing members into teaching professions. She says:

“It’s been a really exciting year, DSA members are teachers and we have a whole program to help members become teachers and help members in other sectors figure out how to organize their workplaces and members support striking workers – so the labor movement is another huge part of the work that we do…” [emphasis added]

As mentioned, Trevor Loudon of the Epoch Times was on this story way before the Chicago Tribune. His article, titled “‘Freedom Road’ Maoists Aid Maduro Regime and Latin American Marxist Revolution” published on July 29 2019, went into detail about the socialists who were involved in this delegation:

American Maoists are working to support the embattled regime of illegitimate Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and to strengthen ties with Latin American communism.In mid-July, the militant Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) sent a delegation to Caracas to build “solidarity” with socialist Venezuela. According to delegation leader and CTU charter school organizer Richard Berg:

‘We are interested in show[ing] solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution and the Venezuelan people and at the same time we want to interact with Venezuelan labor union leaders with [a] focus on teacher unions to learn from them how they have counter[ed] US sanctions and to inform them about our recent victories in the US, like the recent strike CTU organized in Chicago.’

Berg was referring to the successful May CTU strike against Chicago charter school owners. Three of the five delegates—special education teacher Sarah Chambers, English teacher Fabiana Casas, and math teacher Valeria Vargas—were strike captains during the May industrial action. The delegation was led by Berg and Maria Moreno, the financial secretary of the CTU.

Loudon goes on to explain that the Chicago Teachers Union “is heavily influenced by America’s largest openly Maoist grouping: Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO)”.

During their recent convention in Atlanta, DSA featured two speakers from the Los Angeles Teacher’s Union, who praised DSA for their support in strike in January. DSA bragged about their role in the strike, saying in part:

“In addition to being rank and file union activists, DSA members led many efforts to support the strike, creating a model for our engagement in future struggles. DSA-LA made national news by establishing the ‘Tacos For Teachers’ fundraiser along with comrades in the International Socialist Organization. Most notable however, was the mobilization effort DSA-LA undertook to bring hundreds of its members to the picket lines. In partnership with DSA Long Beach and local YDSA [Young Democratic Socialists of America] chapters, Democratic Socialists had a large presence at five major high schools throughout the city.”

Sadly, many local town councils, school boards and unions are heavily infiltrated by socialists in America. Please help RAIR Foundation USA expose subversive organizations and individuals who are infiltrating America’s institutions by becoming a member.
