On Monday evening, a motorist named Youssef T. deliberately drove his BMW car into two police motorcyclists in what appears to be a terrorist attack in Colombes, a Paris suburb. The individual is currently in police custody undergoing a psych evaluation.
The two police officers were struck by Youssef T. were seriously injured and are currently hospitalized. One of the policemen is suffering from a serious head trauma and was placed in an induced coma.
According to The Parisian, the 29 year-old suspect declared that he acted “for the Islamic State”, wanted to “die a martyr” and deliberately caused the accident after having watched videos relating to Gaza and Palestine. Youssef T. was born in Lunéville (Meurthe-et-Moselle) and is being described as a pro-Palestinian activist.
Police were already familiar with Youssef T. who had already been sentenced in 2010 to community service for acts of violence committed two years earlier. Police have yet to release more details about his previous crime.
A one-page handwritten letter was found in the visor of his car alongside a knife. This letter details his possible terrorist motivations. The suspect was taken into police custody at the Hauts-de-Seine departmental judicial police service.
The National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (PNAT) was quick to announce that they are awaiting a mental evaluation of the suspect to decide whether or not to take up the investigation.
In virtually every instance of jihad attacks in France, politicians & media hide the identity of the attackers. In rare instances when the identity of an attacked is leaked, the suspect is presented as possibly suffering from mental health issues.
State officials have been reluctant to acknowledge the religious nature of jihad attacks due to fears of being labeled, “far right,” “racist,” “Islamophobic”, fined or arrested by the French government.
France has welcomed a massive Islamic migration population into its country who believe according to Qur’an 8:39, “Fight them, till there is no persecution and religion is all for Allah; then if they give over, surely Allah sees the things they do.”
Are police or the local politicians going to investigate the suspect’s beliefs?
The attack came less than a month after the Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) terrorist attack, in which a Sudanese refugee screaming “Allah Akbar” stabbed two people and wounded five others. Back in October 3, 2019 another islamic jihad terror attack left four police officers dead. The terrorist, Michael Harpon, was an immigrant born in the French West Indies territory of Martinique.
As previously reported at RAIR Foundation USA, French Presidential candidate, Marine Le Pen, slammed the President of France, Emmanuel Macron’s open borders policy and complete denial of the dangers of islamic immigration, “Despite the deaths, the killings; despite warnings of the imminence of terrorist dangers, the State and its leader, the government and its administrative agencies do not decide to take into consideration the Islamist danger.“
President Macron has yet to make an announcement regarding today’s attack on law enforcement.
Youssef T. is currently at the Colombes police station where he was placed in custody for “attempted killings of persons who are the guardians of public authority”. No mention of terrorism charges have been announced yet.
