Geert Wilders Slams Racism Accusations: ‘I Only State Facts—More Than Half of Crime Suspects Are Migrants, Two-Thirds of Prisoners Are Foreign-Born’ (Video)

In the Netherlands, PVV leader Geert Wilders consistently faces accusations of racism whenever he highlights the overrepresentation of migrants in crime statistics. Yet, Wilders argues these claims are unjustified, as he is merely stating facts—facts backed by official CBS (Statistics Netherlands) data but ignored by those pushing an open borders agenda.

Wilders faced such accusations again during the General Political Considerations (ABP), when Denk leader Stephan van Baarle, whose father is from Turkey, accused him of racism, sneering from the interruption microphone: ‘Why does [Wilders] keep pouring unilateral hatred on Dutch Muslims and doesn’t he see that all those Dutch Muslims and those mosques are actually cleaning up the mess of this cabinet and Mr. Wilders?

Wilders didn’t back down. He responded: “I state the facts and see the facts. And the fact is that more than half of the suspects in the Netherlands of all crimes have a migration background. The fact is that two-thirds of all prisoners have a migration background.” He continued by listing more specific crime statistics that paint a disturbing picture:

• 66% of pickpocketing cases are committed by non-Western immigrants.
• 60% of street robberies are committed by non-Western immigrants.
• 40% of drug crimes are committed by non-Western immigrants.
• 39% of violent crimes are committed by non-Western immigrants.
• 40% of firearms crimes are committed by non-Western immigrants.
• Almost half of the prison population (46.5%) consists of non-Western immigrants.

These figures speak for themselves, yet the left, represented by figures like van Baarle, refuses to engage with them. Instead, they employ accusations of racism to silence any discussion that challenges their agenda. This tactic is a key strategy for the left to push forward their open borders policies without facing real opposition.

As previously reported by RAIR Foundation, Denk, the party that van Baarle represents, has deep ties to the Turkish regime under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan has a long-term strategy to expand his influence in Europe and reestablish the Ottoman Empire, using groups like Denk to push pro-Islamic and pro-migration policies in the Netherlands. This coordination is part of a broader blueprint to weaken European states from within by exploiting their open immigration policies.

As Wilders laid out these facts, he also addressed the broader societal implications. “People see this every day,” he said. “On the streets, on the bus, on the beach—these are the realities of modern-day Netherlands, and we must take action,” Wilders argues that failing to confront these issues will only exacerbate the problems facing Dutch society, and he asserts his right—and the right of the Dutch people—to speak openly about these facts without being silenced by accusations of racism.

Wilders’ firm stance exposes how the left frequently turns to accusations of racism to deflect attention from uncomfortable truths about migration and crime. Instead of addressing the factual evidence he presents, they rely on dismissive labels to avoid engaging in meaningful debate. By refusing to confront these pressing issues, the left not only avoids responsibility but also risks worsening the very societal problems Wilders highlights.
