Islamized Austria: School Disallows Reading From Bible Out of Fear 'Mohammad' Would be Angry (Video)

A recent incident at GRG 19, a grade school in Vienna, has sparked outrage as it exemplifies the increasing tendency of Christian European countries to bow down to the demands of the Islamic community, erasing their heritage, customs, and religion. Following reports of domestic pigs and rainbows being banned to accommodate Muslim students, it now appears that the Bible is also off-limits.

The Incident

During a reading session in a second-grade class, a student requested to read from the Bible for a change from the usual fare like Harry Potter. The teacher’s response was, “No, that can’t be. That wouldn’t be fair to Mohammad.” The student’s family was understandably outraged by this decision. “My son likes to read from the Bible. I can’t understand why he is not allowed to at school,” the boy’s father told “Krone” TV.

When questioned, the Ministry of Education deflected responsibility for “specific incidents in the classroom” to the board of education, which stated there are “no recommendations about how to deal with religious texts in class.”

Context

This incident is part of a broader pattern where religious accommodations are being made at the expense of Christian traditions and customs. The increasing prevalence of Islam in the classroom is becoming a contentious issue, highlighting a shift in cultural dynamics. This tension is further exacerbated by the rising violence in Viennese schools.

Rising Violence in Schools

Between 2021 and 2023, the number of crimes committed in Viennese schools more than doubled, from 962 to 1,932. This alarming increase is closely linked to the growing pressure on educators to accommodate the demands of Muslim students, often at the expense of traditional Christian customs and values. Teachers frequently face daily conflicts, including religious disputes, forced conversions, and compliance with Sharia clothing and covering demands.

Linking Religious Accommodations to Violence

The pressure to avoid conflicts with Islamic students or parents often results in schools granting special privileges or making significant changes to policies. These accommodations can create an environment where any refusal to comply with Islamic demands is met with hostility, and in many cases, violence. This dynamic places teachers and students in a precarious situation, where the fear of violent repercussions influences decision-making.

For instance, if educators do not grant Islamic students special privileges or adapt their policies to avoid offending Muslims, they risk inciting violence. The incident at GRG 19 is just another example: the teacher’s decision to prohibit Bible reading was likely driven by a desire to avoid conflict with Muslim students. However, such decisions also contribute to a broader climate of fear and tension within schools, where the threat of violence looms large.

The Consequences of Angering Islamic Students

Teachers are not wrong to be concerned about the consequences of making Muslims angry. Muslims have put Westerners and the rest of the free world on notice: if you insult Muhammad, Islam, their holy books, or even fail to consider Islamic law (Sharia) in all things, they will harm you. We have seen incidents where teachers, like Samuel Paty in France, were killed for angering jihadis. Other educators have been canceled, lost their jobs, had to live in hiding, or required security for upsetting Islamic students and their parents. Additionally, Islamic groups wage legal jihad on teachers, leading to financial hardships.

Television host Bill Maher seems correct when he famously compared Islam to the Mafia during a debate on HBO: “Islam is the only religion that acts like the Mafia, that will f*cking kill you if you say the wrong thing, draw the wrong picture, or write the wrong book.”

Union Demands Accountability

Thomas Krebs, a union representative from the FCG, is calling for parents of violent and radicalized students to be held accountable. Krebs argues that parents should be required to take instructions about the rules from the police alongside their children. If they fail to meet this obligation, severe penalties and escalation levels must be enforced. Specifically, Krebs suggests fines of up to 5,000 euros.

This incident highlights the growing tension and complexity of managing Islamic students, predominantly with a migration background, in Vienna’s classrooms. The influx of Islamic migrants into the country and the integration of their children into European classrooms have raised serious concerns about the safety of native children and the quality of education. Furthermore, the capitulation of the school system to Islamic demands is seen as eroding European culture, heritage, and Christianity.
