Lincoln Project Co-Founder and Russian foreign agent John Weaver has been scrubbed from the left-wing super PAC after he acknowledged “‘inappropriate,’ sexually charged messages to multiple men,” in a statement to the left-wing website Axios on Friday.
The very well-funded Lincoln Project was founded by vicious establishment republicans, whose “latest revenue-generating venture involves publicly shaming and ‘destabilizing’ corporations that donate money to Republicans,” as reported at the Washington Free Beacon.
Weaver, a married father of two, made the statement after it could no longer be contained that he propositioned men decades younger than him with false promises of jobs and political positioning. His excuse is that he is “gay.” The archived links to Lincoln Project pages can be found here and here.
Uranium One
In July, 2020, the New York Post described the Lincoln Project as the “brainchild of George Conway, Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson and John Weaver” in an article exposing Weaver as a “Russian foreign agent for uranium conglomerate TENEX.” TENEX, the article written by journalist Ebony Bowden explains, is owned by “Rosatom, a Russian state-owned corporation that also owns Uranium One…”
Politico reported in 2019:
“John Weaver, the top strategist for John Kasich’s presidential campaign in 2016, has registered as a foreign agent and plans to lobby against potential sanctions on Russia.”
The lucrative six-month contract was for $350,000. plus expenses.
Uranium One “was able to get control of a significant amount of the United States uranium supply” in a deal signed by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The deal turned out to be quite lucrative for the Clintons, as they “paid Bill Clinton $500,000 in speaking fees and millions to the Clinton Foundation” after it was made. In 2017, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered a federal investigation into the Uranium One deal, but it appears that the D.C. swamp swallowed that investigation whole.
Watch Dan Bongino discuss the Uranium One scandal:
While the Lincoln Project seeks to publicly shame those who donate to their ideological opponents, they are far from transparent when it comes to their own funding. Open Secrets reports that The Lincoln Project “joins a long list of super PACs filling their coffers with secret money from groups that don’t disclose their donors.”
