Paris, July 17, 2024 – The Notre-Dame-du-Travail church, also known as the Workers’ Church or Gustave Eiffel Church, located on rue Vercingétorix in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, was vandalized between the night of Sunday, July 14, and Monday, July 15, with deadly Islamic threats. The church has filed a complaint, and an investigation has been initiated.
Details of the Islamic Vandalism
The vandalism involved blasphemy, vandalism, and attempted arson. Insulting slogans were spray-painted on the church walls, including:
- “Submit to Allah infidels, pray 5 times a day”
- “Bastard Jesus, one god only Allah”
- “Satanic Babylon, the church is dead”
- “The church will burn first”
- “The last prophet Mohammed”
- “Heads will roll for the Christian world war”
- “We Muslims cannot accept this whore of a religion”
- “Mary, this is your destiny”
- “Go to hell, Satan burn”
A wooden statue of the Virgin Mary was found with a knife stuck in its throat, and several cabinet doors were broken. Father Gabriel Würz, the priest of the church, reported theft, damage, attempted arson, and blasphemous scenes against Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and the Holy Trinity. Thankfully, the fire did not spread, and the altars and tabernacles remained untouched.
The Scene and Reactions
Father de Mello, one of the vicars, detailed the scene of the attack, explaining that the damage extended from the church entrance to the first floor. The individual acted alone, leaving behind considerable evidence, including a sausage believed to be from the parish association bar, the Verre Saint, as well as fecal matter. DNA samples have been collected for further investigation.”
Despite the vandalism, the parish community remains resilient. Father de Mello emphasized their vigilance without panic, maintaining daily police patrols in the area and close communication with law enforcement. The church, situated in a social housing area, remains open until 8 p.m., serving many modest parishioners who rely on its support and presence.
Christians Face Hostile Environment and Previous Incidents
This incident is part of a broader pattern of anti-Christian acts in France. Father de Mello recounted an incident on Eid Day in June when Muslims attempted to enter the presbytery courtyard during a barbecue, shouting “Allah Akbar” during mass. Additionally, anarchist graffiti from the group “Antifa XIV” was found on the church facade.
Despite these challenges, the parish community remains steadfast. “We’re not shutting ourselves away, we’re not panicking, but we’re very vigilant,” said Father Würz. The church continues to be a welcoming place for all, advocating against responding to evil with evil and violence. A mass of reparation was celebrated on Wednesday evening to restore the sanctity of the church.

Inbreeding is rampant under Islam with first cousin marriages being the norm, which also does not make for a happy or prosperous society, nor does the fact that Islam makes men it’s slaves by giving them their own slaves, their women. That brings us to female genital mutilation (FGM) which is done to restrict all pleasure in sex to the male, and then there is honor killing, all of the victims of which are curiously female.
