The provincial government announced the directive Friday afternoon, claiming that “allowing people to gather in those areas would put themselves and others at risk.”

A massive convoy of truckers opposed to the vaccine mandates is making its way through southwestern Ontario as it continues its journey through the heart of Canada. Truckers and supporters will participate in a massive protest at Ottawa’s parliament on Saturday.
In 2020, Egypt broke the Guinness World Record for the longest truck convoy. It was 7.5 kilometers long and consisted of 480 trucks. For years the Dutch held the record with a parade of 416 trucks. However, the truck Freedom Convoy heading from British Columbia to Ottawa will soon be the largest in history.
The Toronto Sun estimates that up to 50,000 trucks could be participating, which would exceed the existing record by around ten times if the convoy stays intact all the way to Ottowa. On January 29, Ottawa will be overrun by trucks,
“It’s 70 kilometers long,” Benjamin Dichter stated, the spokesman for the freedom convoy. “I’ve seen footage shot on an airplane. It’s impressive.”
Beacon Of Hope
Thousands of Canadians have braved the cold along the route. Supporters have lined the route, cheered from overpasses, and offered to feed drivers in their homes and restaurants.

Last night RAIR Foundation USA was on the scene in Ottawa at Parliament Hill a full two days early to see if any special measures were in place for the planned massive protest. Protesters were already there and jubilantly celebrating:
This protest has been a grassroots movement that has grown much bigger and garnished more support than the organizers could have ever imagined.
The “Freedom Convoy” was reportedly organized to protest against the vaccine Covid mandates put in place on January 15, 2022. The governments of Canada and the United States mandated the mRNA experimental gene therapy injections to cross the border.
According to the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), as many as 32,000, or 20 percent, of the 160,000 Canadian and American cross-border truck drivers may be taken off the roads due to the mandate. They are also protesting mask mandates for truckers, which orders the drivers to wear masks in trucks. But, for the people, the convoy is a beacon of hope.
A GoFundMe organized for the event has already passed $7 million in donations. Organizers explain the event’s purpose on the GoFundMe page:
To our Fellow Canadians, the time for political over reach [sic] is over. Our current government is implementing rules and mandates that are destroying the foundation of our businesses, industries and livelihoods. Canadians have been integral to the fabric of humanity in many ways that have shaped the planet.
We are taking our fight to the doorsteps of our Federal Government and demanding that they cease all mandates against its people. Small businesses are being destroyed, homes are being destroyed, and people are being mistreated and denied fundamental necessities to survive. It’s our duty as Canadians to put an end to this [sic] mandates.
We are asking for Donations to help with the costs of fuel first, and hopefully food and lodgings to help ease the pressures of this arduous task.
Justin Trudeau Targets the Freedom Convoy
On January 26, speaking at a press conference, embattled Candian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the millions supporting the freedom convoy organized by everyday truckers a “fringe minority,” adding that only by complying with the government can citizens regain their rights and freedoms.
Shocked and visibly shaken by the enormous number of freedom-loving Canadians coming to Ottawa to demand he stops his directorial measures, Trudeau stated,
“The small, fringe minority of people are on their way to Ottawa, who are holding unacceptable views that they’re expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know that following the science, and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values, as a country,”
It is not surprising that Trudeau has targeted truckers, a group possibly even more essential than doctors because they make sure the doctors get fed, deliver the medicine, equipment, etc.
Trudeau’s History of Dangerous Name Calling
The left-wing leader has a long history of targeting Canadians who do not comply with his newest unscientific mandates. Trudeau has repeatedly and dangerously smeared the “unvaccinated.”
In December 2021, Trudeau stunned viewers during a television appearance in Quebec when he announced people who do not receive the experimental Covid “vaccine” are “often racist and misogynistic extremists.”
The left-wing Canadian leader questioned whether the country needed to “tolerate these people.” He further bashed anyone unvaccinated, smearing them as “science deniers.” Although those refusing to be injected are a “small group of the population,” states Trudeau, they are still “taking up space.”
On September 6, 2021, the Prime Minister also said protesters demonstrating against him were “anti-vaxxer mobs” launching “racist, misogynistic attacks. On August 31, 2021, the leader slammed the unvaccinated, claiming “they are putting at risk their own kids, and they are putting at risk our kids as well.”
As previously reported at RAIR Foundation USA, it is dangerous to brand people (the unvaccinated) as scapegoats, evil, sources of disease, or profiteers. Historically, there have been (and are) vast and conclusive examples of the genocidal playbook that all begin with the political and social dehumanization of the “offending” population.

The government-funded CBC initially tried to misconstrue or downplay the freedom convoy. However, as the protest has grown and garnished worldwide attention, the mainstream media has taken to lying and smearing those involved in the convoy, suggesting they are white supremacists and radicals.

High Profile Supporters
Despite the media and Trudeau doing their best to deter supporters from publically supporting the protests, some high-profile supporters have shown their support. Elon Musk and Joe Rogan have praised the truckers and supporters.
During Thursday’s episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, he told his guest, Canadian citizen Valentine Thomas, “your country’s in revolt, do you know about this?”
“It’s a giant convoy of trucks…some insane amount of people..like 50,000 trucks.”
Mr. Rogan adds: “Apparently [the truckers are] all being mandated to get vaccinated, and they’re all like ‘hey, we don’t even contact anybody.’”
The Tesla and Space X chief, Elon Musk, appeared to support the Canadian truckers. Mr. Musk tweeted, “Canadian truckers rule,” adding that “CB radios are free from govt/media control” in a follow-up message.

Ottawa City Councillor Mathieu Fleury wants to seize the protesting truckers’ GoFundMe support account, which has raised upwards of $9 million, to cover the costs of policing the city — among other costs.
Fleury, who represents the city’s Rideau-Vanier Ward, publicly announced on social media that he asked the city manager and city solicitor to “immediately launch court proceedings targeting the millions of dollars in funds frozen by [GoFundMe] so Ottawa taxpayers are not left holding the bag for these protests.”
“I want to voice my support for the notion of City initiating actions against the GoFundMe funds to cover City expenses from incidents from the protests,” wrote Fleury in his email.
In addition to paying for policing costs, Fleury suggested that the money could also go towards promoting Ottawa and to pay for a PR campaign directed at the city’s downtown residents.
“Police costs, businesses and residents for clean-up, promotion for our city, and messaging to downtown residents, and funds for local groups who were victimized over the weekend,” he added in brackets, clarifying what he wanted the city to seize the truckers’ funds for.
“Please advise on actions we can and will take,” wrote Fleury, who has since made his Twitter account private after being barraged with hundreds of responses.
The truckers’ GoFundMe page has only grown since the convoy left Vancouver. It has collected more than $9 million in donations since then, with the funds being allotted to cover the price of gas, lodging, and food.
The cost of policing the event was estimated to reach as high as $800,000 per day, according to the Ottawa Police Service. While noting the costs, the police said on Sunday that the organization has avoided ticketing and towing vehicles “so as not to instigate confrontations with demonstrators.”

Aside from Fleury, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson voiced his anger at the protesters.
“Quite frankly, [residents] feel they’re prisoners in their own home. And so my hope is that at some point, the police reach the conclusion that it’s time to have a serious discussion about moving these people on,” Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson said in an interview with the CBC. “You have the right to protest, you’ve had your protest, please move on. Our city has to get back in normal stead.”

Don’t know if he ever built all the Covid Camps he had in mind, I’ve read that he did build some up north (aboriginals built them) with barbed-wire atop the fencing … Trudeau has mostly used what came to be known as “rape hotels” (owned by Red China, no kidding!) to imprison Canadians for a forced quarantine on crossing back to Canada over the USA border. The hotel room doors were forcibly left unlocked and women prisoners were raped and molested by male prisoners.

Before this happened, i was starting to feel almost embarrassed to be a Canadian. With our prime minister bragging about us being one of the most restricted countries in the world during this pandemic, calling unvaccinated people racists & misogynistic..
I wont lie, my hope that things would be okay again soon was dying quickly.
But seeing the global support for the freedom convoy has made my heart feel so full, and i have never been more proud to have been born & raised in this beautiful country of ours.
Even if it all ends up achieving nothing in the end.. the togetherness and love this has made so many people feel again is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen.
